Lead Me On Level Ground

Rescue me, O LORD, from my enemies; I take refuge in You. Teach me to do Your will [so that I may please You], For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Baring His Beauty,                                                                          Tiffany Thomas

Tell Her

Tell her that she is beautiful

That I love everything about her

The way she smiles

The way she carries herself

I even love her silliness

Her love for others, but mostly when

She searches for Me

She does not have to compare herself

If she is too “this” or “that”,

I created her in My image and in My eyes she’s perfect

I knew her before she was born

I created her to be One with Me

I love the woman she’s becoming

Tell her to let go of what was

The hurt, the pain, the betrayal

I will heal her wounded soul

Quiet her restless mind

In Me she will find perfect peace

There is so much hidden within her

It’s time for her to run with Me

To discover her place in Me

To share her gift with the world

She will find what she needs in

My presence

Her worth at My feet

If she longs for Me with her

whole being

I will take her on adventures

In Me she will find her home

Tell her to let go of her fears

I will replace it with a faith so strong

I have heard her desperate cries

Saw her tears, when no one did

My love for her is relentless

I will wash away her pain

Anoint her with fresh oil

Dress her in robes of love

She will know that I am her

safe place

The One who gives her wings

Daughter of Zion don’t be afraid

For what you need is found in Me

You have wondered around for

to long

Putting your trust in man

It only brought you tears

Give Me a chance to heal your heart

I loved you since the beginning of time

And as you go with Me, into the unknown

Our heart’s will beat as One

The depths of My love will set

you free

You will know a peace that passes all understanding

For My perfect love casts out

all fear

Together we will rule and reign

We will be unstoppable

Fearless amidst every storm

You will find your place in my heart

along side other bride’s

Find You Here

I didn’t think I’d find You here- in the middle of my deepest fear…..

I love these lyrics! See image below:

God is here in the middle of the

Lonely night

Losing fight

Deep regret

The healing that hasn’t happened yet…..

Another great song by Ellie Holcomb off Red Sea Road Album.

The Great Battle

God is not afraid of a fight; neither should we be. Our dad is bigger than the enemies dad; he is stronger, wiser, and more loving. I love the fearlessness of the angel, Michael, in the movie of the same name. God is not afraid, the angels are not afraid, so we do not need to be afraid. We just need to be sure that we are fighting with God and not against him. We need to be sure that we are fighting the battles that he wants fought, fighting with his weapons, and fighting for his glory.

We are fighting the good fight of faith with the weapons of faith, hope, and love. We believe in God’s promises, we hope in our heavenly rewards, and we love with his strength. Doubt must give way to faith, despair must give way to hope, and fear must give way to love. All of our daily disciplines are to prepare us for victory in the day of battle. With God we shall do valiantly, for he shall trample down our enemies.

Our doubts will dissipate in the light of all of God’s sure promises. He has never failed us, and he never will fail us. He will come through with just what we need just when we need it. John tells us that if we are abiding in Christ, abiding in his word, and bearing fruit for him, then our prayers will be answered.

Then, despair must give way to hope. We will be assured of victory in all of our struggles. We will be assured of great heavenly reward as we learn to overcome in every season and in every trial. We will be assured that Our Father is delighting in us as we learn to delight in him and fight along side him in the great battle of the ages, the great battle for souls.

Then, love will be our constant companion, our strength, and our song. Our fears will melt away as we occupy ourselves with loving well and living well and bringing joy to Our Father’s heart. When we live in love, we live in God, and he lives in us, and love never fails.

Live Happily Ever After

I just returned from the whole Disney Theme Park trip in Orlando, Florida. I am still trying to wrap my mind around the huge amounts of people these parks draw in each day.

One would think a Thursday in February would be a smaller crowd at the Magic Kingdom. Nope, not the case at all, thousands poured in at the magic opening hour of 9 am. Since I was in line to get autographs from all the different Disney princesses my attention was drawn to watching the little girls meet and greet these beautiful Disney actors.

They were playing their part perfectly as if they just stepped out of their particular animated movie to specifically greet you. One couldn’t help but get caught up in the wonder of the fantasy of these characters. Even so much as to go and get pixie dust in our hair after meeting Tinker Belle. Yes, the mom’s needed faith, trust and a little pixie dust dropped on their heads too. It’s quite easy for me to go into pretend mode and be a princess. After all I grew up on Cinderella and believed I too would meet my Prince Charming and live happily ever after.

I was reminded this week at Disney that we are ALL created for a purpose bigger than ourselves. We have the DNA of our Creator flowing through us that causes us to look upward and beyond. Yes…..to infinity and beyond just like Buzz Lightyear. No wonder so many people are drawn to the Magic Kingdom. These are not just kids who are being mesmerized by the possibilities of flying like Peter Pan or having “Magic” power to make all your dreams come true.

We were created for so much more than we are experiencing currently on earth.

We are the sons and daughters of the King of Kings. If we decide to step into our royal calling through the blood of Jesus. We too are sprinkled with something far more powerful than fairy dust. We have the ability to be co-heirs with Christ.
This is a happily ever after story for us.
We have a choice to choose the side of good and or the side of evil.

I choose to come as a child and receive my inheritance in Christ Jesus.

The huge Tree of Life is the center of attention at The Animal Kingdom. I will admit I couldn’t keep my eyes off of it. It has all the animals slightly hidden and carved all around the trunk and branches.

It is our salvation in Jesus Christ that makes the Tree of Life come alive daily in all of us.
It’s magical not easily explained.
We are in the happiest place on earth when we rest our heads on the One who leads us through the circle of life. If we listen closely we can hear Him whisper, “You are a child of mine!”.

Have you heard the song, ‘No Longer Slaves’ by David and Melissa Helser?

Isaiah 62:3

“You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, And a royal diadem in the hand of your God.”

Romans 8:17

“Now if we are children, then we are heirs–heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.”

(Tree Of Life)

Revelation 2:7

“‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.'”

“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who is wise wins souls.”

Never Get Lost

A compass is used to help you find your sense of direction and ultimately guide you where you need to be to get you where you need to go.

               A great tool when lost.

An even greater tool to always keep on hand.

That is how many are in the world today; Lost; without a sense of direction of where they need to go.

A compass points you North, East, South or West- but the Great Compass of life; always points to Jesus.

You won’t get lost or wander aimlessly with Jesus.

He will always help you find which way to go.

WORTHY THOUGHT: We should look for opportunities to use words that will encourage us and fellow believers.

Anxiety in the man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word cheers it up. ~Proverbs 12:25

The most encouraging words we could ever use comes directly from the Word of God.

We are told in Proverbs 12:25 how the right message of encouragement can help someone over come feelings of anxiety and discouragement.

Here is another reminder of God’s promise to help overcome our anxiety and discouragements.

“So do not fear, for I am with you;

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you;

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

~Isaiah 41:10

Thank you Father God, for being so good to us and for always being with us in good times and bad. Amen.

Our Time To Be Loved

Deep down we all are the same

We just walk with our masks on

our faces

Pretending to have it all together

While inside we sit with our

scars and our pain

We cover the scars, try to hide

the pain

The bandages wet with our tears

There’s no time to deal with heart issues

No one to listen

No one to talk to

We drift in the background

Clinging to our pain like a prize

We are in this rat race leading

no where

While we run further away

From the King of our hearts

Tormented in our minds

Our hearts never free

To taste the depths of His extravagant love

Our time to be loved is now!!!

Long enough, were we bound up

in robes of our past

Holding us captive

With no sign of freedom

While He wants to dress us in robes of His love

He is wooing us, to find the path to His heart

Step out of your grave clothes

Take off your mask

Trade your ashes for a love journey

with Him

Trade your pain for freedom unknown

In Him you will find what you need

He will calm every storm you are facing

Together you will win many battles

Your King has summoned you to

His presence

He extended His scepter to you

You are deeply loved and favoured

He will take your brokenness and make you whole

He is a covenant God

He paid a high price for you to be free

He will meet you in your deepest pain

There is no time to waste!!!

For your time to be loved is now!!!

He will erase all your pain with a stroke of His love

Others still bound up are waiting

for you

To step into their lives

Their freedom is bound up in your surrender

Stop wasting your time on things

of the past

In Him you will find a brand new start

I see your face radiant with joy

His peace invading your whole being

You are finally free to love and be loved

There is a new song on your lips of redemption and love

You have exchanged your rags for a garment of fine linen and silk

You have made yourself ready

As your eyes lock with His,

and you are finally free

You step out to rescue other bride’s

For their time to be loved is now.

Wonderfully Made

What if I saw me the way that You see me?

What if I believed it was true?

What if I traded this shame and self-hatred for a chance at believing You?

Another beautiful song off the latest album Red Sea Road by Ellie Holcomb.
