I’ve been in the fire of judgement and criticism more times than I can count with my two hands. Always thinking that I am weird because I don’t “fit in” with everyone around me.
I’ve always felt weird but as I get older I realize the people that get called weird are nonconformist and original thinkers.
People only stare and whisper words because they don’t understand why you aren’t following the “normal”.
My word for you today is:
if you feel like a black sheep in a heard of white, then own it and shine on.
Get comfortable with your weirdness and embrace your peculiarity because it’s special. Jesus only made one of you and if you don’t live out who He has called you to be, then the position will never be filled. Leave your own imprint in this world and leave a legacy that will never die out. Be YOU!

Hope came dancing on an empty grave
Death has lost its rule to the King of grace
Hallelujah!
And the light we see it’s Jesus
And the name we see is freedom
And the sound we know
Knows no fear
Your love through the atmosphere
Amen! Enjoy this weeks #SongSunday

“Rule” by Hillsong
Be the crown in the light and sound
Be the fire burning inside out
Be the love casting out of fear
Let your name move the atmosphere
Love like the skies are wide
Crashing down to bring the world to life
Hope came dancing on an empty grave
Death has lost its rule to the King of grace
Oh ho ho ho ho, oh oh oh
Be the crown in the light and sound
Be the fire burning inside out
Be the love casting out of fear
Let your name move the atmosphere
Oh ho ho ho ho, oh oh oh
And we owe it all to Jesus
Sin and all the shame deleted
Death and all the chains defeated
And the light we see its Jesus
And the name we see is freedom
And the sound we know
Knows no fear
Your love through the atmosphere

Maybe I should get out of bed and go to work. Maybe I should visit that church down the street. I don’t feel quite at ease; maybe I should talk to God and try to figure out what is going on in my heart.
Sometimes we wait for God to speak to us unmistakably and dramatically, when he is waiting on us to come to him in our quiet moments before the drama starts and before loud commands are needed to get our attention.
The problem may lie in our perception of God. We may see him as a God that needs to make himself dramatically known. We may see him as a God that is anxiously awaiting the opportunity to save the day and swoop in to deliver us in our hour of crisis. Maybe we need to see him as he was with Adam and Eve in the garden, walking and talking with them in the cool of the day, just enjoying sweet communion with his beloved.
Maybe he knows that if we only come to him in our moments of crisis, then our hearts really aren’t ready for a mature relationship with him. How do we feel when those we love only come to us when they are in a crisis and need something from us? We may help those we love when they are in need, but I think we would much prefer that they would come and develop a relationship with us before things in their life get out of hand. Randy Travis has a song that includes a line, “find the Lord before you need him”. Wise words, indeed!
Maybe we need to realize that Our God is a friendly God that likes having friends. Abraham was called a friend of God. Moses had an intimate face to face relationship with God. Enoch walked with God and pleased God and was saved from death. John was a disciple that Jesus loved, and his writings flow with intimate descriptions of Christ and insightful commands regarding walking in love and unity with God.
We have heard it said that we need to listen for the still, small voice of God. It is true; the Almighty likes to whisper to us; he likes to nudge us in the right direction, and he delights when we become sensitive to his gentle ways and learn to dance with him.
Watch the artistic moves of the loving couple on the dance floor. The woman moves with her partner, and you never see a forceful, or clumsy manipulation by the man. They have learned to move as one. They have become accustomed to the grace of the dance. It is a delight to behold. It must be a delight to the dancers themselves. Let us learn to dance with Our Father.

I wake up and release my confessions
I clear my vision to the possibilities
I stretch forth my arms and receive gratitude
I pick out my desire to wear reckless abandon
I get up and run out uninhibited
God deposited the word “uninhibited” into my thinker a couple of weeks ago. I have been rolling the word around and around in my head asking God to reveal to me it’s meaning.
It gets personal and God shows me how he desires to walk out my relationship with Him without restraint.
Think about how the word could relate to you?
How can you enter His courts with praise without caring what anyone else thinks of your singing?
How can you drop off the entanglements that keep you from seeking Him?
How can you walk on the wild side pleasing Him with all that you do?
How can you love and trust Him without hesitation?
How can you wake up each morning free with out restraint?
How can you go without hesitation and not look back?
2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
Galatians 2:4 “…our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus…”
John 8:36 “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
Proverbs 1:33 “But whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.”
Romans 8:15 “For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’”
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
Psalm 56:4 “In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?”

Kelley Allison
Faith is sometimes waiting in the Promise and doing something against what the World seems best or is even best for you, to instead do something else that could be best to help someone else.
Today God showed me that what looked like an immediate answer to my families prayers with everything lining up perfectly wasn’t all there was to the story. He prompted me to make a call which opened up another conversation and presented another possibility and alternative that helps someone else and answers their prayers immediately.
I would have missed the answer and this opportunity to be obedient to God had I not read His Word or made the calls when the Spirit promoted me.
God then told me to go back and keep reading. I almost didn’t because of time crunches and knew that I was now to do the opposite of what we thought we should do, but the Spirit told me to go back and keep reading. So I stomped back to my farm table and continued to read His Word and that is where He clearly confirmed in His Word what was opposite of the choice we thought or the World thinks we should have made was what we were to make.
Emotional and Mind blown how awesome God works and this time running late and an emotional mess-I felt His Peace flood over me by His confirmation in His Word that this choice was a choice of simply being obedient to His Word that goes against everything else and that is what builds our faith.
I knew that I could continue to wait in the Promise longer now that my waiting allowed someone else to get an immediate answer.
I want to encourage everyone. Keep reading! Keep reading His Word. Don’t stop when you think you have the answer. Don’t base your choice or make a decision just because everything is lining up and the voice of reason or the World tells you to take the deal- God could be asking you to wait longer in your Promise so someone else can have their answer to their Promise and prayers now.

Worthy Thought: Good teaching comes from good learners who accept correction.
Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid. -Proverbs 12:1 ESV
To all believers part of wanting to be taught is to accept correction, to learn wisdom from others you WILL obtain favor.
Wisdom, will make the hours of your day more profitable and the years of your life more fruitful. -Proverbs 9:11 NIV
A person who scorns wisdom and refuses criticism has a problem with pride. Such a foolish person is unlikely to be taught and only hurt themselves.

at the roar of your waterfalls;
all your breakers
and your waves
have gone over me.
By day the Lord commands
his steadfast love,
and at night
his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life.
Psalms 42:7-8 ESV
If you are anything like me, every once in a while, it is comforting to know there is a safe place that I can sit and be still (in the Lord).
It’s where I find respite from my daily routine, my wandering thoughts, and the future that is unknown…..I can find solace here, even if I fall away just for a moment. I can soak in the presence of God and connect to peace that he provides to me within. May the Highest Above call us to a deeper place with him. Today, may we rest in his steadfast love.

In 2 Kings 3:15, Elisha a prophet of the Lord, asked to have a musician brought to him before he could deliver the message from God.
This showed that “Music” plays a part in Elisha receiving his message from God.
Are you needing an answer, a message, a word, power, guidance or direction from the Lord?
Try putting on some music.
Begin to Worship and Praise God right now and come boldly and expectantly to His throne that you WILL RECEIVE HIS POWER to meet whatever you need!
Rock On!
It just may be ALL ‘BOUT DAT BASE…..

All my gifts and all my crowns
Take my life I lay it down
I am Yours
And I am in love, with undivided focus
And I am in love with You
Lord, give us undivided focus. Help us to lay down our gifts and crowns, our wants and desires if they aren’t what you have for us. Help us to be fully surrendered, laid down and fearless. Make us fully-filled with You, so we can overflow.

Undivided Focus – Heather Clark
Lyrics:
Holy Spirit, I surrender to You [x2]
Take my life I lay it down
All my gifts and all my crowns
Take my life I lay it down
I am Yours
And I am in love, with undivided focus
And I am in love with You
Holy Spirit, I surrender to You [x2]
Take my hand and lead me through
The glorious fields to be with You
Take my hand and lead me through
I am Yours
And I am in love, with undivided focus
And I am in love with You
I am in love
And I am in love, with undivided focus
And I am in love with You
I wanna be a laid-down lover [x3]
Filled with You
I wanna be a fearless lover [x3]
Filled with You
I feel my way down this undiscovered hope
I run my hand along the wall
I’m waiting here for Your call
And I will follow You to the center of Your heart
I wanna be a laid-down lover [x3]
Filled with You
I wanna be a fearless lover [x3]
Filled with You
Filled with You
And I am in love, and I am in love
I’m in love with You…
And I am in love, with undivided focus
And I am in love with You
