The Truth Hurts Before It Heals

To know and truly knowing ….

Many times we can know something but we stuff it away and live in a denial state.

But when we finally face the knowing…

It can feel like a death gripping our insides and causing us to writhe in deep pain grasping for our next breath.

Coming to grips with reality and fully knowing what we once feared and denied, is in fact True, is not easy.

Truth hurts. Truth hurts.

Truth hurts…

But …

Truth ultimately wins and heals the hurts if we let Him. — XXOO Michelle

The Better Deal

How differently would we live our lives if we eliminated any and all fear of abandonment?

What if our awareness of God’s presence was so strong that the idea of being alone lost all its power?

Imagine our clarity of thinking, our standards for loving, and our freedom in relationships!

No one could ever dangle our fear of abandonment over us as an unspoken threat.

We could calmly and confidently walk away from any unhealthy relationship or environment.

We would live our lives always having the better deal, because we do.

We are never alone, For our Father is always with us! – (John 16:32)

Wisdom Of God

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye. —Antoine de St. Exupery`

Sometimes what we know deep in our hearts gets clouded over by doubts and questions and other people’s opinions and judgments.

We need to clear away such clouds and listen to our hearts, for our hearts carry the wisdom of God.

You’re Not Alone

Paul tells the people of Corinth in 1 Corinthians 2:3 “and I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling”

What a beautiful way to look at this promise today is as if it was God saying “I was with you in your weakness in your fear, and in much trembling,”

Just as the Lord was with Paul, when he preached to the Corinthians and shared that he was trembling, in weakness and in fear, the Lord was with him, and the Lord will be with you too in whatever weakness, whatever fear, and whatever trembling you may be experiencing .

And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. — 1 Corinthians 2:3

Everything

There are two kinds of men and women in the world-the saved and the lost.

Education has nothing to do with it; culture has nothing to do with it; intelligence or resources have nothing to do with it.

But the Cross has everything to do with it.

– Harold J. Sala

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10 AMP)

Our Own Conduct

We are each responsible for our own conduct. — Galatians 6:5 (NLT)

Your choices control your calendar and your lifestyle.

Your choices are far more powerful than your circumstances.

You may not like how complicated your life has become yet, with very few exceptions, no one is forcing you to keep your life complicated.

God expects us to assume responsibility for our lives and to carefully choose how we spend our time.
