I am Ready To Perform My Word

Recently I had a dream where I was in a elevator that was falling from high in the sky. It was dark outside and the elevator was falling at a fast pace. I was inside the lift and so scared because I knew I was going to die at any moment.

All of a sudden the scene changes, from one of darkness and death to a new scene where I was flying supernaturally over a magnificent turquoise, blue sea. I could feel Papa holding on to me loosely. He let me move at a supernatural pace over the beautiful sea and beautiful green grass and flower patches.

Every time these beautiful patches of grass and flowers would appear, Papa would lower me to slide through it. I was in awe and experienced so much joy at that moment, because I knew I was safe and that Papa came through for me, at the right time.

I know that many can relate to this dream and that Papa wanted me to share it with you.

Many felt like I did in the first part of the dream over the past year, but especially the last three months. The enemy really turned up the heat in our lives and the attacks were taken to new levels and at times many felt that they were left alone to fend for themselves. Many literally felt the enemy choking the life out of them.

Many are waiting on Papa to perform His word, but instead it felt like the enemy did everything in his power to keep us distracted and in a place of confusion and no movement.

Yet Papa would want you to know that although you felt like you were going backwards and stuck, He was and still is at work behind the scenes on your behalf.

Many took a position of rest because of all the confusion and delays and that is exactly where Papa wanted you to be. All the lessons learned during your wilderness, the ups and downs, birthed something within you of eternal value. Every trial and painful experience had its purpose and soon everything will fall into place.

You might feel like you are ready to give up on Papa and His promises for you, but that is what the enemy wants you to think, that is why the attacks were endless. He knows the plans and purposes Papa has for you, that is why he will do everything in his power to get you to give up. He knows that you are closer to your breakthrough then you could ever imagine.

All of a sudden, at the right time Papa will come through for you. It will be the perfect time. Everything will fall into place and you will be in awe of how He used every setback and trial to work for your good. Papa had to take all of us on different journeys, different battles, different challenges to birth that which He needed to put on display through us. Nothing we went through was in vain, we will look back and see that everything worked for our good.

You might find yourself still in the first scene of my dream, spiralling downwards fast, with no hope in sight, but know that Papa will be true to His word. Rest in Him while He does what we cannot do. There’s many angelic activities behind the scenes, working on your behalf.

Your breakthrough will come suddenly and you will experience deep joy, because of the goodness and faithfulness of Papa. Hold on to every promise and keep your focus, you have come too far to give up now. He only has good plans for you!

Jeremiah 1:11-12: Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see the branch of an almond tree”

Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word”

Shifting Point – My Moment Of Truth

Recently when moving a dog food bag of about 50 pounds I was struck by how heavy it was, and that for me I was carrying around about this much of extra weight each and every day on my body.

I know it is not healthy and have tried countless ways to jumpstart this process but I am usually quite discouraged by how slow the scale moves and allow the busyness of life to take over and then the days blend together and I seem to blink and another year has flown by.

The same 40/50 pounds still here.

I decided that I could no longer just go about it like it was a minor thing and needed to get intentional about doing something.

My twins just turned 18 and graduated – so the baby weight is no longer a valid excuse.
          I reached my shifting point!

I researched about Intermittent Fasting and found a program I liked.
I did my before pics and took all my measurements and jumped on the scale …determined!
WOW – I started thinking back and counted the years since I held a consistent workout routine and ate really clean.
Shocking it had been over 3 years!

I have done fasts like the one I blogged about almost 2 years ago and lost 25 pounds and have done other challenges and have exercised a bit here and there but the paper staring back at me and the pictures were shocking that I could no longer ignore or deny or put it on the back burner for any longer.

I didn’t get discouraged. I took it all like a big girl and pulled up my big girl panties and said….

I may have a lot medically working against me, but I too can be the biggest hinderance to me…

But greater is He that is in me!

With You Lord- I can do this!

I went to bed with great anticipation and then I was suddenly awakened at 4:44 am.

Somehow I knew it had a deeper meaning so I wrote it down.
When I had time, I looked up the number 4.

4= Dalet / Hebrew

Meaning:

A tent door

Pathway

Entrance to Promise Land

Material creation

Number of the Kingdom

Enter into your physical deliverance

BOOM! I like that Lord! I am READY!

Weeks ago when the Lord first spoke Shifting Point to me I wrote down these tidbits…

Combat always comes before victory.

Believing is the condition for receiving.

God’s truth does not change with my moods.

So here’s to my Shifting Point
I will keep you posted on how it goes.

For grins I checked out the definitions……

A Set-Apart Season

Some choose it

Some resist it

Some make the best of it!

God has been speaking to me lately about A “Set-Apart Season”.

As I kept seeing and hearing that word I felt like I was somehow missing God’s Divine Download on this subject and wondering why He spoke the words – …some choose it, some resist it, some make the best of it.

I began seeking Him deeper and got a vision of Butterflies.

My daughter likes to plant milkweed plants and that attracts the caterpillars and they eat it up and store it and she plucks them fat little wormy guys up and sets them apart in her aquariums for them to do their magic.

But despite the gold spun threaded cocoons and the beautiful butterfly emerging in brilliant colors – the vision that God kept taking me to was the time I witnessed the beautiful butterflies hatching or transforming and it was not a very pretty sight.

They actually bleed- as they are thrusting in the cocoon to come out and the cocoon is pretty wrecked when all done but that butterfly finally emerges -but it’s wings are still wet and must dry before it can began to fly.

So it just flaps its wings over and over –

kind of a mundane boring motion but it can’t be rushed, they must be dry in order to fly.

So forgive me as I am trying to relay this Divine Download to you on day 4 of suffering from a head cold and bronchitis…

Try to follow me here…..
Let us go to simple definitions- that is usually how God helps me unpack….

Many view “Set Apart” negatively as being isolated, detached, secluded, or alone.

In Christian circles that term “Set Apart” means to usually go deeper with God to get clarity or direction.

The basic definition is:

Set Apart – set someone or something apart to make different and special.

In Jeremiah 1:5 we read that God meant “Set Apart” as chosen, handpicked, special, with a purpose.

“Before I created you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I set you apart; I made you a prophet to the nations.”

So why was God saying to me…

Some choose it

Some resist it

Some make the best of it?

Why the butterfly vision?

Let’s look at the many definitions to Set:
Set=to adjust

Set=to restore to a proper and normal state when dislocated or broken

Set=to concentrate on a purpose or goal

Set=to cause to sit (wait)
Bingo!

Some of us do choose a “Set-Apart Season”.

We need a time of waiting on God, to give us clear direction. Sometimes it’s a time to remove the distractions of the world so we can be restored to our proper and normal state when broken or slightly dislocated.

Many of us resist a Set-Apart Season and are not too happy when we are forced into it by sickness, circumstances, divorce or even death.

I was forced into a “Set-Apart Season” by my husband’s recent surgery. This week I was further thrust into a “Set-Apart Season” by being sick.

Was I making the best of it?

 No- sadly I was not.

It brought up how selfish I can be when having to care and wait and serve someone else 24/7.
It brought up how much I complain about my pain and sickness instead of focusing on God’s promises.
It had me resentful that I had to sit and wait and let my children serve me and not get my house cleaned up and organized for upcoming company.

So back to the Download….

We can choose a “Set-Apart Season”, we can resist the “Set-Apart Season” that feels forced upon us, or we can make the best of the “Set-Apart Season” and wait and sit with God and allow Him to adjust and restore us.

Think about what could be a “Set-Apart Season” in your life and if you will choose it, resist it or embrace it to allow God to make the best out of you through it.
And now back to the butterfly-

Don’t try to rush the process.
We must feed on the Word, (like the milkweed) to prepare ourselves for the “Set-Apart Season”

We must trust God in the weaving of our cocoons but don’t get so comfortable with them that we resist the coming out part. Some butterflies die in the cocoon state and never emerge transformed.

We will have to endure the thrashing and transformation process. Yes, we will bleed some. That is what it takes to forms us and restores us.

And we must not forget to wait and sit to dry our wings fully before we emerge and are able to fly again.

How will you spend your “Set-Apart Season”?

Amazing Revelation Revealed

Name History of Jesus of Nazareth:
He is the Christ, the “Anointed One,” or the “Messiah.” The name “Jesus” comes from the Hebrew-Aramaic word “Yeshua,” meaning “Yahweh [the Lord] is salvation.” “Christ” is actually a title for Jesus. It comes from the Greek word “Christos,” meaning “the Anointed One,” or “Messiah” in Hebrew.

During a morning quiet time this week I was visualizing myself holding onto Jesus with my head on HIs shoulder. I had the thought, “What would it feel like to be held by Jesus?”

What if He physically stood by me and reached out to me? How strong and yet soft at the same time would His shoulder feel with my head buried in it?

Then out of no where came a thought that rushed through my thinker like a bolt of lightening.

“THAT IS WHY I CAME TO YOU THROUGH MY SON JESUS. YOU NOW HAVE THE ABILITY TO TOUCH ME, WALK WITH ME, TALK WITH ME AND I TOO AM ABLE TO REACH OUT AND TOUCH YOU!”

God desired intimacy with us. He sent Himself. (You have to really wrap your mind around that one.) He desired a relationship that went deeper than the Old Testament “holy visits and proclamations” through certain appointed prophets and leaders. He desires relationship with ALL of us. His children He created. You and me, each of us equally important and valuable to Him.

Jesus is the bridge of salvation that we can choose to cross and leave our sins behind us. We then position ourselves to be in good standing with a perfect holy God who DESIRES to hug us and hold our weary heads up to rest on His shoulders!

Lord,

Help me to truly understand all the mysteries that surrounds your Son as You, The Father in the flesh. I can not fully comprehend this without help from the Holy Spirit to reveal all that encompasses your love for me through your Son.

I John 4:2

This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,

Know

Define

To know can be defined as being absolutely certain or sure about something.

Affirm:

Jeremiah 29: 11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Recall:

The other day my sister and I were conversing about teenagers and their responses to questions. She told me that often she has to remind her children about the difference of thinking, believing, and knowing. My sister shared that often when asked a questioned about school, important dates, and friends: her children respond with “I think or I believe…” My sister confirmed with her children that merely thinking or believing is not definitive and that she needs them to know.

When my sister was sharing this story with me…I thought how profound! It made me think about how we communicate with GOD, our father. We, as children of GOD sometimes diminish our GOD given dreams and/or visions. Everyday life, has told us that we are unable to pursue what GOD has placed in our souls. We begin devaluing what we have been purposed for.

Quick Question:

Do you fall asleep at night thinking about the vision that GOD has given you?

Do you know GOD has more in store for your life?

Do you find yourself devaluing what you have been purposed for?

I want you to KNOW that GOD has given you the VISION and he will provide the PRO-VISION to bring what you see to life.

The key is to move into a place of knowing verses instead of remaining in the space of thinking or feeling. When we know something will happen, our thoughts and energies will move in that direction and we will create massive momentum to make it happen. We will not doubt. We will approach that goal with boldness. We will abandon the disbelief of self and other.

God already knows. We need to know. How do we move to the place of knowing? The key is to rely on GOD’s word. In order to rely on the word, we’ve got to spend time in the word. When we communicate with GOD from a place of knowing we will see his declaration for our lives: his plans for us to prosper and have an abundant future.

Be Bold. Abandon Disbeliefs. Be Fearless. Watch GOD move.

I DARE YOU!

Exercise:

Dear God,

Thank you so much for declaring prosperity for my life. Thank you for helping me rely on you to move the vision you’ve given me from slow motion to swift movement.

Commit to the challenge.

I DARE you. – LeReca Monik

I Don’t Revisit Painful Places

It was a reoccurring dream from my childhood.

I was standing in the foyer of my great grandparents home in the dark.

It was night time and the wind was blowing the white sheers in the long windows of each bedroom.

I was pulling out a fleshy rope from out of my mouth.

It was so long and it kept coming out as I wrapped it around my hand desperately trying to yank it out but there was no end.

I was in elementary school and it was very frightening.

It was bitter and it was choking me. I will never forget the texture or the taste.

There was no one to help me or explain what was happening.

My teeth felt like they were loosening and coming out.

What a weird dream?!?

Never understood it and

I don’t revisit painful places

but….this heart of mine is being provoked and tilled and the light is exposing darkness.

The darkness has to leave and light always overcomes.

The foyer is gone.

The house no longer exists.

My memories of question are not answered by bitterness!

Oh taste and see that The Lord is Good!!!

His sweetness and shining are triumphing over that place I stood battling that unseen force …..I’m dying but only to those lonely places…

It is time to rest and not fight.

Bitterness will not be my plight.

I’m learning, listening, leaning on the Lord of Life.

Tablets of My Heart

IMG_1095.PNG

David Crowder has a song, “Here’s My Heart” that has a great message of surrender.
I was listening to this song one evening when I closed my eyes and imagined Jesus writing with a pencil on the tablets of my heart!! I saw notebook paper shaped like a heart resting on me as if it were actually my heart.
I immediately had the thought,
“These are the tablets of your heart!”.
I asked God what he was trying to show me through this picture in my mind. This is what flowed from my pencil in my journal.

Allow Me to write on the tablets of your heart…….
To form your thoughts
To produce your words
To create a new heart in you
To cover you with My declarations
To speak what is true
To compose a melody in your heart
To express myself through you
making a permanent impression of Me
To write your story with your permission

Signed, Jesus ❤️

Then I found these words in the Bible that were written about “tablets of your heart”.

“Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:3-6).

“My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life”
(Proverbs 4:20-23).

“My son, keep my words, and treasure my commands within you. Keep my commands and live, and my law as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart” (Proverbs 7:1-3).

Proverbs 3:5-6 has always been one of my favorite verses and I had never noticed before the verses before it mentioning the tablets of your heart.

Are we willing to release the lies we have believed and replace them with what is true?
Can we surrender our hearts rhythm and allow it to be redirected by our Creator’s songs of love and restoration?
Will you hand Him the permission to write on the tablets of your heart?
