Rest In Me

Hold on My sons and daughters

It is imperative that you don’t give up now

I know that many feel hopeless

The journey has been long and tiresome

Many are at their wit’s end

What they trust Me for

seems so far out of reach

It feels like there is no light

at the end of the tunnel

You cannot see what I am planning for you

You cannot see under the surface

It might seem that I am so quiet

and that I have forgotten about you

but know that I am for you

and not against you

When I am quiet

I am fighting and moving on your behalf

Don’t let the enemy play with your mind

He wants to take you out

before your breakthrough

Hold on dear ones

My plans will soon unfold

before your very eyes

I know some battles have been fierce

and going on for years

The heat was turned up higher and higher

I did it to form My character within you

The enemy did it

because he wants you to give up

Don’t miss My time of visitation

It’s imperative that you stay focused

and seek My face

From that place of intimacy

I will instruct you and give you strategy

to move forward

I will even share secrets with you

through dreams, visions and visitations

to prove to you

that We are in this battle together

So hold one dear ones

We are in this together

DREAM and INTERPRETATION (Very important, Papa was on my case to release this word for the past three weeks, because many will miss their breakthrough in this season, if they focus on their pain and struggles)

Recently I had a dream about buying night robes for myself and a prophetic prayer partner friend for R24,99. The next day the dream was confirmed, when she had a similar dream about me. She messaged me that in her dream, she realised that it was my birthday the 8th (new beginnings) and she had to rush to the shop to buy me a gift. She only had R200 when she saw this beautiful night robe that costs way more than what she had. The man helping her said that he knew that this was for a very special lady and that she wouldn’t just wear it at night, or special occasions, but always. He told her that he would give her a special price. While she was still stressing about the price, he marked it down to R24, 99. We were both stunned that Father God, could confirm this dream so accurately.

Seeking Papas face about the dream and especially the night robe, He told me that this is the season of new beginnings (nr. 8) and that it is very important for us to rest (night robe) in Him. He wants us to wear our bathrobes night and day. Through our storms, the fire and trials. He want us to rest in Him completely and give our battles to Him, because the enemy is going to do anything to steal our focus.

The nr. 24 (wisdom, worshipping the Lord and a call to put our own interests second) is to seek Papas face, especially when we feel like giving up. This is so important, because we might miss His time of visitation. Spend time in His presence and move with His spirit.

The nr. 99 (prodigals) is that the prodigals will come home. I believe that Papa will also revive our dreams and prophecies that we have shelved or forgotten about. He will do the work, while we rest in Him. Everything will fall into place when we seek His face.

Many are waiting for God to come through for them.

Remember that His timing is always perfect. Do not rush the process or you might end up with Ismael instead of Isaac. Rest in Papa, and know that He is at work behind the scenes. You can trust Him. Enjoy His presence from where He will direct and instruct you. Soon you will look back and marvel at His perfect timing and greatness. You will remember the hard times no more, because you will be so in awe of Papas faithfulness.

A Vision Of Healing

In the past, God has spoken to me in dreams and visions. I used to write a dream journal, and it was very useful, but had let it lapse. Then several people challenged me to keep doing it as it is important and it is what God is saying to you. So, once again, I kept a pad and pen by my bedside as I have to write it down as soon as I awaken – or the dream will vanish.

What I am going to tell you is an account of God’s provision, It is God’s story.

On Thursday night, March 2, I had a dream with a vision and words.

First I saw a leg…it was very defined…a leg with a foot and toes. Around the leg was wrapped a large serpent. I (Kathy ) was in the dream and I spoke in another language and the serpent unwrapped and fled and everyone was happy.
This was written down but I did not have the interpretation.

On Sunday March 5, I entered the hospital after going to the Emergency Room, unable to put any weight on my left leg due to swelling and pain.

I was diagnosed with Cellulitis and placed in a room.
On Monday morning, an orthopedic doctor evaluated it, and said he would drain the area around my knee and run a culture of it. If it had spread to my artificial knee joint, he was going to have to immediately take out my knee. He said it would have to be completely cleaned out and healed before they would place another new total knee in there…but they probably might place a spacer in it for the interim.

I called John and told him, and we both said at the same time…BUT THIS IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN BECAUSE GOD IS GOING TO PREVENT IT.

Then I remembered my dream of 4 nights before of the serpent wrapped around a leg. Now I knew it was MY leg in the vision.

At that time, God said to me “You have to take action to what I said to you.”

In Ephesians 6: 10-18 – and we all know those verses on how to stand against the enemy. The end verses say “and the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.” And again, in I Corinthians 14:15 it says “I will pray with my spirit and I will also pray with my understanding.”

And so I began rebuking the serpent in Jesus name – both in English and in my other language..my prayer language. In English I prayed “God – it says in John 10 the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus comes to bring Life and that more abundantly…so I accept Life and healing.”

This kept on all day and night Monday.
I was so sure of my dream and what God told me.

When the doctor withdrew the syringe from my knee, he took out about 10 ounces of yellow thick fluid…that looked like pus.

In the natural, it surely looked like I was going into surgery immediately.

We both kept saying…NO – there will be no surgery.

We evaluated the vision/dream.

There was a prophecy – a foretelling of a future event.

There was a work of wisdom – a telling of a situation

And – a word of knowledge – instructions from God of what I must do.

Every day, dr would come in and say “so far so good – the culture has not grown anything.”

From Sunday – Friday I stayed there in the hospital waiting, with I.V. Antibiotics.

Now we had a name for it – cellulitis.
And, on Friday late afternoon I was released to go home with more antibiotics.
We are rejoicing in God’s provision of no surgery.

Then the devil told me “you cannot tell this story, because you are not totally healed of everything.” But I told the devil “In the Bible, Jesus said “I only do what the Father tells me to do”….so, devil…I did exactly what the Father told me to do…and I escaped surgery.

So…I know I have to tell what God did and we are praising Him mightily for His provision and help. It is God’s story.

And, the most important thing about this whole thing is that we met nurse A and nurse B. they were both in our room, and nurse A bit on our leading of scripture reading and study. She then challenged nurse B if she had made Jesus Lord and Savior.
Nurse B – I used to go to church. I need to get back to church.

Nurse A – it is not going to church – it is a relationship. Being born in a garage does not make you a car.

John – Here is a little pamphlet that tells you what we are talking about.

Kathy – You need to decide soon because Jesus is coming back soon.

Nurse B – that is what my Momma tells me – she says I have to get my household in order.

Kathy – you go to your Momma and tell her you met some Christians who told you the same thing.
In the meanwhile – nurse A worked on me – and Nurse B stood reading the tract.

Nurse B – this is really good – it explains it. I will do this.

And she kept telling John “thank you for the little book.”
Another story of what God has done.
We were just in awe and praised the Lord.

Tomorrow

WORTHY THOUGHT: Be a Tomorrow Thinker.

The only thing worse than being blind is having a sight but no vision.-Helen Keller

Dreams of tomorrow help us to persevere through adversity of today, endure criticism, and finish strong.
And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.-Habakkuk 2:2-3

Tomorrow thinkers get the most out of everyday. Be patient even during difficult times

God is always at work planning for our future. Trust in Him for He is directing all things for His purpose.

Look Through The Wave

Remember that Peter wanted Jesus to prove that it was indeed He walking on the water by allowing him (Peter) to come to him by also walking on the water. Peter was able to do just that UNTIL he took his eyes off Jesus which caused him to begin to sink, right?

I was thinking about that event, and the Lord placed a wave in front of my eyes, and I heard Jesus say, “Look through the wave,” and that’s when I saw Him.

When I think about this, He shows me that it’s not just the “big wave” that comes to block our view of Him but also the very thought of one coming that causes us to sink. There is no question that these waves come and will continue to come throughout our lives. Instead of thinking about them, though, we must reframe our thinking to how muddled we will allow them to be.

Yes, they’re big waves – often HUGE! Yes, they are ugly, dark, and capable of filling our lungs to prevent air of life! BUT GOD!

Allow not the gulps of water! Allow not a drop to be consumed! Keep your eyes open to SEE through each wave, and you will see Him!

He wants us to walk on the water as victors of our circumstances- no matter the size of the storm- and when the waves seem too big, it doesn’t mean we are sinking, for we are already overcomers, it simply means that we must look THROUGH those waves to see Him.

I receive this as a word to NOT be thinking of the “what ifs” of the future and to just keep our eyes on Him. The waves come, but when we are STILL, our vision is clear, and we can SEE through them…to SEE HIM.

“Be still and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10

Dream Big Dreams

God wants you to dream BIG dreams!

But how about letting God dream for us?

God had some great big dreams for Mary and David and so many others in the Bible, Bigger than they ever dreamed for themselves.

God has Big Dreams for you and your life too!

I believe in this time, more than any other, God is looking and calling forth His leaders to rise up. As our culture is growing more dark and apostate, I believe the heart of God is calling for His sons and daughters to rise up and be strong leaders.  Individuals who will influence society for righteousness, […]

3 Things To Do

1 Corinthians 13

10 We know only a portion of the truth, and what we say about God is always incomplete. But when the Complete arrives, our incompletes will be canceled.

11 When I was an infant at my mother’s breast, I gurgled and cooed like any infant. When I grew up, I left those infant ways for good.

12 We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!

13 But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly.

And the best of the three is love.

From A Distance

“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the spirit.” 2nd Corinthians 3:18 NIV

Recently, I was headed to an appointment. From a distance, I could see one parking spot left where I was headed. So, I quickly drove straight for it. This day was vibrant and beautiful, because the gloomy clouds had positioned themselves to pass, so the sun could make itself known. But I had been pretty caught up in the things I had to get done, so I hadn’t given enough attention to take a quick notice.

Before I got to the parking spot, my heart suddenly was flooded with fear and anxiety. I hadn’t noticed a man who decided to take a short cut across the street, right in front of my car. It took me off guard because the angle of the sunshine temporarily blinded me and I could not see.

Before I could grab ahold of my senses, the man had jumped out in front of my car, and quickly crossed the street. I think he might have been a little scared, too.

While I sat for a few moments collecting my thoughts, to no surprise the enemy was right there to fill my mind with lies and untruth. After my fear settled, I decided to take his lies captive, and found myself arriving in a place of thanksgiving.

Even so, I became quickly convicted. Yes, I could have seriously harmed this man, but equally because I had neglected to give God the full focus of my heart.

I had become temporarily blinded by the busyness of life, my wants, my needs, my choices, and my will.

God reminded me that my unwillingness to be guided was not an excuse to be blinded by removing “my glasses.” Nothing should come to blur or color-coat my vision. When I’m completely focused, with my eyes upon the Lord, my heart becomes open to His perfect vision, and perceptions.

He is the gift of sight, and He is always available for anyone who desires to see things more clearly.

Many times, I’ve been blinded by a selfish heart…..more times than I would like to admit. This day, God reminded me of the blind spots that slowly come to settle in our hearts. With time, we get accustomed to the view, and are blinded from seeing His purpose for our life. We get caught and bound to a vision that is skewed.

A heart that can only see far away, or right up close, is missing out on the fullness that was created, in perfection. Getting lost becomes easy, but finding our way back can be more difficult.

God wants us to see all the opportunities he places before us. He wants us to see him, so we might see ourselves from the viewpoint where he stands. He wants us to see ourselves in Him, so that others can see Him, in us. That is the reflection of a clear view, His beauty made in everything.

My friend, may you look for Him this week, in everything. May you see through the same eyes, in which he sees you.

Join me next Tuesday. May you be blessed.

Baring His Beauty,

Mine Eye

Eye see one half of the earth

One half of the pain

One half of your heart

One tear on your face

Yet when Eye

Close mine Eye

Eye can see forever there

Being led by my Father’s Eye

Everything’s within my site

Further than mortal man can see

When Eye trust in thee Oh Lord

This single visioned man

Can see all things very clear

Eye see less of me

Now

Literally

Light my path so

Eye won’t stumble

Hold my hand so

Eye won’t fall

Lead me Lord

And Eye will follow

Speak my name

Eye’ll heed Your call

Eye hath not seen

Nor ear heard

But Eye will Lord

Looking to Your Word.
