I read this trick recently and it works!
When you crack your eggs in the non stick skillet place a plate over the skillet.
Just for a minute or two and you will see the whites of the egg quickly are firm.
Makes for easier flipping and you salt and pepper and replace the plate again for a minute or so and you have perfect over easy eggs.
You can leave plate on longer for less runny yokes.

Can you do that with your tongue? What about fold it upward and make it wave? How about touch the tip of your nose? There are several slips and tricks that some people can do with their tongues. Not everyone is able to do those silly tongue tricks. The tongue is a mighty muscle and some can easily spew out tons of toxic and poisonous words easily while others are natural encouragers and seem to always bless with their tongues. Many of us sadly can sometimes do both just as easy.
In James the Bible talks about this…
“Humanity is capable of taming every bird and beast in existence, even reptiles and sea creatures great and small. But no man has ever demonstrated the ability to tame his own tongue! It is a spring of restless evil, brimming with toxic poisons. Ironically this same tongue can be both an instrument of blessing to our Lord and Father and a weapon that hurls curses upon others who are created in God own image.” ~ James 3:7-9 The Voice
Just like those tongue muscles we have to exercise to perform all sorts of silly tricks, we need the Holy Spirit to help us exercise control in the taming of our tongues.
May we show off a brand new tongue trick –
To only speak words that bring light, life and encouragement to others.
Lord, help me to always speak life giving words. Help me tame my tongue and keep my mouth shut if I don’t have something edifying to say. Help me to love like You love so I could never think of cursing others with my tongue. In Jesus name. Amen
