Jesus Loves All His Children

I awoke at the wee hours singing a very old Sunday School hymn…
“Jesus Loves the Little Children”

Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
Red, brown, yellow
Black and white
They are precious in His sight.
Jesus loves the little children
Of the world.

Jesus died for all the children
All the children of the world
Red, brown, yellow
Black and white
They are precious in His sight.
Jesus died for all the children
Of the world.

Jesus rose for all the children
All the children of the world
Red, brown, yellow
Black and white
They are precious in His sight.
Jesus rose for all the children
Of the world.

Every color, every race, all are covered by His grace’….
——
I don’t see skin color in the horrific news events around the world — that’s what the lame-stream media wants us to see.

Because that keeps their narrative alive of fear, control, hate and racial divisions.

I see some humans doing very inhumane things against each other.

I see a world of angry greedy people void of compassion and unwilling to help their neighbors.

I see a total disregard for one another’s welfare and life.

I see power overreaches and poorly trained people.

I see entitlement mentalities run rampant and so many opinions being forced down throats as truths.

I don’t see white against black or red or brown or yellow or vice versa.

I see ALL God’s children that desperately need Him.

Many stories don’t make the major news … and they are just as sad and horrific and have been caught on video.

The Asian store owner begging for his life but shot and robbed anyway after giving over all the money to two Hispanic males.

The white mom dragged as she was being robbed still clenching to her purse … what did that purse hold more valuable than her life? and why did the young black man not let go either as he sped away dragging her body until it was battered and broken.

The Indian girl kidnapped and tortured by her own family.

The black little girl killed and raped by her moms boyfriend, also black.

The white girl killed by the white Uber driver. Or another one killed by the Indian Uber driver.

The killing fields out in New Mexico with tons of Hispanic women buried in shallow graves.

The Houston killing fields of young white women buried.

The World is full of senseless and horrific tragedies.

The media wants to pick and choose the ones that their narrative causes the most division and hate amongst us.

Yes – Racism is real and rampant today as it has always been.

It is not just against the African American communities, or White communities, or Asian or Indian or Hispanic communities.

It is alive and doing well in all communities and most definitely it needs to stop!

Sadly, Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and every platform and person it seems has jumped on board to voice their opinions and stir more division and hate.

Just glance around your news feed and see all the arguing going on.
It’s been happening for weeks.

I don’t see color – I don’t see race –
I see many people in desperate need of Jesus.

May the Lord help us all to not see color as a dividing factor but to see a world of people of all colors that God created in His image and to believe as God does that we are ALL precious in His sight.

Let’s start talking about how we heal, individually and as a community, a country and a nation, instead of just how we feel about such senseless tragedies and travesties.

That’s my goal! Lord help me.

What You Won’t See On The News

Yesterday I got up early and traveled to downtown Houston to attend the Trump Rally with some friends. I am a Trump supporter and I know I have friends and family that aren’t – which is just fine.

I can still love you and accept you without agreeing or approving with you. That’s what mature people do.

I have to say-I didn’t know what to expect but thought there might be some foolery and mobs ..but guess what? – There was none!

This is what I witnessed first hand…

I saw thousands upon thousands of people standing in line that love America. They were from all over the state and other states too.

There were Asians, and Hispanics, Indians, Koreans, Nigerians, African Americans, Caucasians and many women of all races and ages (even a 95 year old granny that her family pulled her in a wagon so she could be there)and there were many people of various religious beliefs also that all support our President Donald J. Trump and are happy to see America thriving.

We stood in lines for hours.

We shared our food and our seats. We laughed and sang and hugged and took pics and we didn’t bash or hate or scream at anyone.

We gave a few chides to the little boy in a Beto shirt but hopefully he was open to being educated as his friend was that was an illegal waiting to become a citizen but we kept it respectful and kind. Everyone did!

Even the girl with the nasty pink hat trying to entice the crowds as she walked by got nothing.

We all ignored her.

That was 2 upon thousands of people I witnessed for over 12 hours.

Once inside the Toyota Center I sat next to a African American women and her daughter that was in her late 20’s. They had seen Hillary’s America and Follow Diamond and Silk and said they couldn’t believe that more people don’t educate themselves on the corruption of the Democratic Party. It’s not the same as it used to be.

I saw so many people that were citizens from other countries that came over here legally and followed the process that were very vocal that they want stricter immigration laws and the wall built. They didn’t agree with the caravan attempt to come in by force orchestrated by the democrats.

They also agreed that the other countries should pay their fair shares.

Only one person was ejected during the Presidents speech – but the media likely planted him because as I sat there watching the media get in place to film a section instead of the president I knew something was up and sure enough 1 man started to make a scene and secret service quickly scooped him up. Because Texas Doesn’t Play!

I am not here to convince you in any way to change your views. I am not open to debate it- I am simply here to report what I saw first hand that the fake news media outlets will never report.

Trump supporters are all ages and races. Loving, kind, and giving people.

Wanting to protect our country is not because we are heartless and cruel-there is a process and it needs to be followed. You can’t give out to every country and not expect to have them give back. Don’t count on the spin doctors or talking heads to give you the news. Educate yourself.

We are not the ones holding onto rage and bitterness of a lost election as the other party is and hiring Mobs to protest and vandalize and spread violence because we are busy appreciating all the new Jobs!

Our economy is improving.

You shouldn’t want hand outs – you should take the hands up you are given and give back.

If you are so filled with hate and rage against the President or Republican Party or anyone that differs or has a different opinion than you – it’s heart check time folks. I pray you can release that mess. It will kill you!

I saw none of the violence and hate yesterday and I am very proud to say I support Our President and am proud to be an American.

Freedom in Christ is Free folks (I can help you with that freedom) but Freedoms in and for our Country comes at a very high price!

I support and appreciate our Presidents efforts to ensure and protect those Freedoms without taking a salary for doing it.

I want to Keep America Great too!

So, get out and vote and vote educated and not as someone holding onto bitterness and resentments.

And if you want to get all Cray Cray in the comments here – well – just remember …Texas Doesn’t Play!

I will block anyone acting up.

I Love You

As I watched all the news coverage today on the flooding surrounding my area here in NW Houston, I couldn’t quite shake a few things.

I thought of the people that died. One heartbreaking story after another of them texting their mom or calling their husband or a friend moments before they were swept away.

One story hit close to home for me. One lady drove across town to check on her twin sister and although they begged her to spend the night, she chose to drive back home and succumbed to a drainage ditch and high water and a young man found her dead in her car.

I started to think about each one of these souls. Did they know Jesus? What were they thinking of as the flood waters engulfed their cars and filled their lungs? Did they think that they should have stayed home or stayed a little longer, hugged a little tighter, made more time for someone? Did they have regrets? Did they have unresolved issues with someone?

I also started thinking back to a time in my life when I lost my brother suddenly. I was remembering how angry I was with him for “twisting off” and getting drunk and was rehearsing all the things I would tell him the next morning. I rehearsed how I would give him a good ole griping and rheem him out good for disappointing us. I didn’t get that chance- instead we got to plan a funeral and try to come to grips with the devastating loss. Griping him out was the last thing on my mind then.

So why am I sharing all this? Why am I thinking all this matters?

Today I was reminded – we are not guaranteed tomorrow. Not just by the loss of lives on the news or my own experience in losing my brother and my dad suddenly, but exactly how short life really is and in the grand scheme of things, what really is important….

Is it our jobs?

Our homes?

Our money?

Being right?

Or

Is it an apology from someone you are waiting for that you feel you deserve?

Is it the hurt and anger and bitterness you have grown comfortable carrying around?

Is it your pride stopping you from reaching out?

I implore you to not expect anything or hold too tightly to things or grudges that are really not important. Don’t hold on to the hurt, anger or bitterness one second more. If you are still waiting to have the last word, or be told you are right….STOP!

If someone you love has made poor choices that upset you or let you down, love the person still and separate the actions from the person.

No one has to be right or wrong. No one has to apologize to move on. We are all imperfect people but loved by a perfect God. If it is hard to love and forgive someone that hurt you- ask God to help you love and forgive them.

God binds up the wounds and heals the broken hearted- but you have to surrender the wounds and broken pieces to Him and stop carrying them around.

Don’t wait another minute – simply just reach out and tell them you love them right where they are. Don’t let the sun go down today without you telling them you love them. We are never guaranteed tomorrow. All you have is right now- this moment.

I pray that each of you would feel the flow of God’s love fill in every crack of hurt you are experiencing right now. He is the Great Restorer. He is faithful even when we are not.

Pick up the phone- send that text or email or card and do it right now. A simple “I Love You” can start the healing process.

The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe

I am not concerned with a lion, planned parenthood, Donald Trump or any other news story that gets millions of people all anxious and rowdy and riled up over.

When we start comparing things against each other we put ourself right into a position of being critical and making unfair judgements. I surely am saddened by it all. I also grieve over them because I believe it all grieves God’s heart.

What I choose to do instead of reposting vile videos and blogs and weighing everyone’s opinion on what is worse or more worthy of drawing our attentions to, is I am choosing to pray for them all.

I pray for the hearts of the people that felt the need to do the dishonest hunt against this lion and I pray for this dentist that needed a trophy kill and his pride and greed got the better of him.

I pray for planned parenthood and all the evil greedy deeds that have allowed them to profit off abortions and selling of aborted baby organs and tissues. I pray it will be exposed and that God will intervene on behalf of the people who are involved. I pray that God will allow me the divine encounters to speak about choosing life over abortion to many girls and women so that they won’t feel they have no other option.

I pray for Donald Trump to take a moment to weigh his words before he speaks and while he is well meaning and has spoken many truths, he has also misspoke and categorized people unfairly which makes it hard to retrieve the words once spoken.

I pray all these stories and people involved will come to know the restoring and transforming power, love, and grace of Jesus Christ.

I pray for the media that has continued to spin the truth on many many other news stories to turn from their lies and begin to speak truth.

I pray for all people including myself to retire their soapboxes, their criticisms, judgements, dividing doctrines, religious spirits and finally be on fire and riled up for Jesus and wanting to get busy getting on with the Father’s business- which is to Love God, and Love others’ as yourself.

I pray that I will choose to be a light to others in this dark world and not be tempted to spread and share the darkness.

I pray that I will remember to be humble and that we have all been guilty of greed, pride, and unworthy words on some level at some time in our life.

I pray that I will always extend Grace and forgiveness because I have been forgiven of much and given God’s Amazing Grace.

Will you join me in praying ?

Finally, brothers and sisters, fill your minds with beauty and truth. Meditate on whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is good, whatever is virtuous and praiseworthy.

                     – Philippians 4:8 The Voice

“Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults— unless, of course, you want the same treatment. That critical spirit has a way of boomeranging. It’s easy to see a smudge on your neighbor’s face and be oblivious to the ugly sneer on your own. Do you have the nerve to say, ‘Let me wash your face for you,’ when your own face is distorted by contempt? It’s this whole traveling road-show mentality all over again, playing a holier-than-thou part instead of just living your part. Wipe that ugly sneer off your own face, and you might be fit to offer a washcloth to your neighbor.”

Ebola-Who Is To Blame?

FullSizeRender

In our society today it seems everyone wants to blame someone.  People seem to take joy in seeing someone be the “Fall Guy”.  People demand resignations and picket and protest and organizations get involved that have no business being involved.  The media circus starts, and Facebook and Twitter feeds fill up with so much hate, fear, speculation, and some out right lies and hoax stories that people just keep resharing over and over filling Social Media sites full of …”Crap”
Yep the whole “Shitteree” is full of Crapola and crazyness some days.
(My mom used that word “shitteree” lately and it cracked me up but it is an excellent and funny way to say) -the whole kit n kaboodle, nothing left out, yep that’s right the Ebola stuff and all the crazy judgmental fear filled worry stricken cold hard bitter people opinions media circus frenzy crazy social media sharing stuff,  ( big breath ) exhale-
 The Whole Shitteree!
My friend said this recently and  I believe that it should be everyone’s reminder before they answer the question on who is to “blame” for Ebola.
We live within the blameless One, therefore let us not accuse or blame others.~ Donna Reiners
It is not our place to accuse, blame or judge.
When my kiddos come home and they tell me all the opinions they hear their peers say.  I am shocked! I think who are those kids hearing all this from and where are the parents?
But I see it for myself when I go to my Facebook feed and many there have warped views and harsh opinions about the latest big news topics. Sadly, many people who claim to be Christians are some of the worst offenders spreading fear and judgement.
I try to explain to my kiddos that usually it is just opinions and don’t pay attention to it.
I even throw their Popo’s (my Dad’s) wonderful wisdom at them-
Remember-
“Opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one”

and then I use it as a deeper teaching moment to remind them that because we choose to live by a Biblical world view, and Love Jesus and love others as ourselves, then sometimes (most of the time) our opinions will go against the crowd or be different from the “popular opinion” on things.
If our thoughts and opinions don’t line up with Jesus, we better check ourselves because our opinions may not matter to everyone but they do matter to God.
Peoples negative opinions and junk can easily jump on us if we aren’t careful.  We should not align ourselves with others opinions, even with those in authority if it doesn’t line up with God.
Our opinions and most importantly our hearts always need to line up with God & His Word.
I always tell my kiddos-
The right side to be on is always Jesus’ side.
Recently I had one of those, “do as you have been teaching your kids moments”.  I went against “popular opinion” and replied to a post from a friend who asked if people thought the head of the CDC should be fired over this Ebola hoopla.
Here was my reply:
“Actually I don’t agree that the CDC head should be fired. I think that they are all human and had no idea how to treat or prevent Ebola. So this is a learning curve for all the CDC the doctors and the nurses …everyone. I’m sure enough people protesting for the firing of the CDC head, and it will happen. That is how our society is with always needing someone to blame and someone to set an example with. Unfortunately I think it leaves no room to demonstrate to our children or others compassion, mercy, forgiveness, gentleness, or kindness. Those are true examples of character missing today. If they were modeled and displayed more, our society would be a much better place.”
Those are my thoughts not only on this, but for all situations, whether it is the CDC head, reporters, television celebrities, NFL players, lawyers, judges, Joe Shmoe next door, you, me….everyone.
We are all capable of mistakes.  We are all human.  We don’t know everything.  We are not to blame, accuse or judge.
God is still in control!
No matter who is president Jesus is still The King!
I don’t have all the answers, and my opinions may not matter to you, but I will tell you what I do have that makes me not buy into all the opinions and fear and crazy Crapola circulating social media these days.
I have the TriFecta of all TriFecta’s-
I have The Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.
The Prince of Peace lives inside of me.  I am in Christ, so that means so does all my circumstances too.
I could care less who is responsible or who is to blame for Ebola, or gas prices or Global warming, or if Obama was playing golf, or anything else that doesn’t build people up and make the world a better place.
I am not worried or scared or fearful about any of it.
I have His Peace, Prayer & Promises!

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. ~ Romans 8:26 – 28

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow – not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below – indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.~ Romans  8:38-39
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
~ Romans 12:2
Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.  Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. ~
Ephesians 4:31-32
If we are True Believers and followers of Christ, we should love others as ourselves, stop blaming and judging people and start to demonstrate love and peace to others amidst all this worlds chaos and confusion.
Let’s all do our part to change the whole Shitteree with only Godly opinions shall we?  XXOO Michelle Bollom
