Write It All Down

I heard a voice thunder from the Throne:

“Look! Look! God has moved into the neighborhood, making his home with men and women!

They’re His people, He’s their God.

He’ll wipe every tear from their eyes.

Death is gone for good—tears gone, crying gone, pain gone—all the first order of things gone.”

The Enthroned continued, “Look! I’m making everything new.

Write it all downeach word dependable and accurate.” ~Revelation 21:3-5 MSG

Do you like to write down various Bible Verses or Journal?

I love to write out His Promises.

This one is one of my favorites because it promises that ALL things and EVERYTHING He is making new!

365 New Chances

Today we get to start the first chapter of our next 12 chapters of 2017.

This day is the first day of our next 365 New Chances.

Maybe it’s a new chance to live healthier, to love deeper, to speak kinder, to leave the past behind, and embrace new opportunities.

This year let us not just make resolutions to be better for ourselves, but be better to our families and friends and also to everyone we encounter.

Spread kindness, love, joy, forgiveness, mercy, and hope like Confetti!

Celebrate each day as it were the next New…

A New Chance For A New You!

Happy New Year!

Newness

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/bca/70503914/files/2014/12/img_1520.jpg

Newness-the quality or appeal of being new.

New-like …The achievement of the smell of a new car. The anticipation of blank pages on a new calendar. The excitement of starting a new routine. The adventures of taking a new route. The hope of a new relationship. The innocence of a new baby. The confidence of a new outfit. The determination of sticking to a new healthy lifestyle.

Oh how I love the “Newness” of things!

There is one Newness that I love the most…

The promise that I am a New creature in Christ!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! ~2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV

Here are some more “New” Year Promises I found:

You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. – Psalm 65:11 NLT

I wish you all a bountiful harvest and overflowing abundance!

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” ~Revelation 21:5 NIV

Write down your goals and rest assured the promise of New is going to happen because God is always trustworthy and true!

18 Eternal One: Don’t revel only in the past, or spend all your time recounting the victories of days gone by. Watch closely: I am preparing something new; it’s happening now, even as I speak, and you’re about to see it. I am preparing a way through the desert;
Waters will flow where there had been none. ~ Isaiah 43:18-19 The Voice

Nothing is too hard for God! He always prepares a way.

Thousands of people will resolve to do or change something and therefore many will set resolutions today. Some will stick with it and be transformed this time next year but some will give up and revert back and stay unchanged. We all can make the choice to be a better version of ourselves.

Do you want to be transformed? Do you want to be made New?

I invite you to do so right now, say this prayer out loud:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name. Amen.

Congrats! Welcome into the Kingdom of God.

Out with the old, in with the new!
You are a New Creature!

The best transforming tool is reading and studying God’s Word. If you need a Bible I will be glad to mail you one. Leave your address in the comments below.

Here is one of my favorite quotes:

Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every New Year find you a better man.~Benjamin Franklin

As we celebrate this first day of the New Year , and maybe for some of you, a New Life in Christ, may you all be filled with much Newness of Hope and Promise.

Bring on 2015!

Happy New Year and Happy New You!
