Everything Is Beautiful In Its Time

So many times we try to rush God and do our own things.   We try to accomplish something before its perfect time.

To illustrate this message on waiting on the Lord for my children recently I used when we have Dewberries, Southern for Blackberries, that grow in our back yard.

When we pick them before their time they can be sour or bitter, but when we wait and allow them to ripen- wow! Now that is what is really beautiful and tastes amazing.

Just like us- we must remain connected to the Vine- Jesus.  We must trust His perfect timing so that we too will always bear the good ripened Fruit that is beautiful and sweet in its time.

The Vine by James Vincent

Remain

Worthy Thought:

He transform my weakness into strengths.  He produces the fruit in my life.

I am blessed to know I don’t have to do it all by myself.~ Angela Lipe-Pattengill

And he said to me, “My Grace is sufficient for you, my power works best in weakness.” So I am glad to boast about my weakness, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

2 Corinthians 12:9

Jesus said “Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

John 15:4 NIV

Keeping It Real

Fruition
\frü-ˈi-shən\
noun

Fruition-
The state of bearing fruit.
attainment of anything desired; realization;accomplishment:
the state of being real or complete.

We all know the definition of “fruition” meaning attainment or accomplishment and that it is the state of bearing fruit, but I did not know that one definition is “the state of being real or complete”.

That part of the definition really stuck with me-
So Fruition means also “Keeping It Real!”

Now that is something we should all strive to do, and with this new definition discovery it had me thinking-or pondering a little deeper- or maybe just scratching my head- but anyway I wrote this down:
When we are keeping it real and we understand we are complete in Christ, we won’t feel the need to be putting on airs, operating in a false self or finding our worth in incomplete things.  People will know we are Christ’s disciples because our fruit will be good and recognizable when we are keeping it real.
Then I read these verses:

But you will recognize them by their fruits. You don’t find sweet, delicious grapes growing on thorny bushes, do you? You don’t find delectable figs growing in the midst of prickly thistles. 17 People and their lives are like trees.Good trees bear beautiful, tasty fruit, but bad trees bear ugly, bitter fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear ugly, bitter fruit; nor can a bad tree bear fruit that is beautiful and tasty. 19 And what happens to the rotten trees? They are cut down. They are used for firewood. 20 When a prophet comes to you and preaches this or that, look for his fruits: sweet or sour? rotten or ripe? ~Matthew 7:16-20The Voice (VOICE)

This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples” ~John 15:8

So my final thoughts on all this…
Let’s live the fruition definition by keeping it real friends, show ourselves as Christ’s disciples and be about bearing much good fruit.
