What You Won’t See On The News

Yesterday I got up early and traveled to downtown Houston to attend the Trump Rally with some friends. I am a Trump supporter and I know I have friends and family that aren’t – which is just fine.

I can still love you and accept you without agreeing or approving with you. That’s what mature people do.

I have to say-I didn’t know what to expect but thought there might be some foolery and mobs ..but guess what? – There was none!

This is what I witnessed first hand…

I saw thousands upon thousands of people standing in line that love America. They were from all over the state and other states too.

There were Asians, and Hispanics, Indians, Koreans, Nigerians, African Americans, Caucasians and many women of all races and ages (even a 95 year old granny that her family pulled her in a wagon so she could be there)and there were many people of various religious beliefs also that all support our President Donald J. Trump and are happy to see America thriving.

We stood in lines for hours.

We shared our food and our seats. We laughed and sang and hugged and took pics and we didn’t bash or hate or scream at anyone.

We gave a few chides to the little boy in a Beto shirt but hopefully he was open to being educated as his friend was that was an illegal waiting to become a citizen but we kept it respectful and kind. Everyone did!

Even the girl with the nasty pink hat trying to entice the crowds as she walked by got nothing.

We all ignored her.

That was 2 upon thousands of people I witnessed for over 12 hours.

Once inside the Toyota Center I sat next to a African American women and her daughter that was in her late 20’s. They had seen Hillary’s America and Follow Diamond and Silk and said they couldn’t believe that more people don’t educate themselves on the corruption of the Democratic Party. It’s not the same as it used to be.

I saw so many people that were citizens from other countries that came over here legally and followed the process that were very vocal that they want stricter immigration laws and the wall built. They didn’t agree with the caravan attempt to come in by force orchestrated by the democrats.

They also agreed that the other countries should pay their fair shares.

Only one person was ejected during the Presidents speech – but the media likely planted him because as I sat there watching the media get in place to film a section instead of the president I knew something was up and sure enough 1 man started to make a scene and secret service quickly scooped him up. Because Texas Doesn’t Play!

I am not here to convince you in any way to change your views. I am not open to debate it- I am simply here to report what I saw first hand that the fake news media outlets will never report.

Trump supporters are all ages and races. Loving, kind, and giving people.

Wanting to protect our country is not because we are heartless and cruel-there is a process and it needs to be followed. You can’t give out to every country and not expect to have them give back. Don’t count on the spin doctors or talking heads to give you the news. Educate yourself.

We are not the ones holding onto rage and bitterness of a lost election as the other party is and hiring Mobs to protest and vandalize and spread violence because we are busy appreciating all the new Jobs!

Our economy is improving.

You shouldn’t want hand outs – you should take the hands up you are given and give back.

If you are so filled with hate and rage against the President or Republican Party or anyone that differs or has a different opinion than you – it’s heart check time folks. I pray you can release that mess. It will kill you!

I saw none of the violence and hate yesterday and I am very proud to say I support Our President and am proud to be an American.

Freedom in Christ is Free folks (I can help you with that freedom) but Freedoms in and for our Country comes at a very high price!

I support and appreciate our Presidents efforts to ensure and protect those Freedoms without taking a salary for doing it.

I want to Keep America Great too!

So, get out and vote and vote educated and not as someone holding onto bitterness and resentments.

And if you want to get all Cray Cray in the comments here – well – just remember …Texas Doesn’t Play!

I will block anyone acting up.

Infallible

WORTHY THOUGHT: The only weapon that defeats the deceivers is God’s inspired Word in the Bible.

The Bible is the infallible Word of God.

No one in history who tried but failed has ever found fault in the Bible. The Bible is always up to date in then and today. Our foundation is under the Word of God. The Bible can touch our minds and hearts to refresh and renew our souls.

If we didn’t have a Bible what source could bind or bring people together?

The strength of our country was started on the Bible. Educated worldly leaders spoke greatness about the Bible. Blessed is the nation who’s God is The Lord. Our first President of the United States, George Washington said; “It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.”

Today, The Bible is the most translated book in the World. Believing in God’s Word will save, mature and equip you to serve The Lord.

The Bible is the only Authority that counts!

All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. -2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV

For no prophecy was ever produced by will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. -2 Peter 1:21 ESV

Healing The Orphan Spirit

Lereca shared a little on the Orphan Spirit yesterday; you can read her blog “God Loves Us More” Here

I started thinking of this teaching I watched about 4 years ago when Kelley Allison of Bowl Of Splendor shared this with me. It is a great short message on what it is and how he overcame and was healed from the Orphan Spirit. Really great info!

When we know who our Daddy (Our Papa) is- we will know our value and worth.
God is all about Restoring Lives !

Who’s your Daddy?

We would love to hear your thoughts on this?

Love 101

I have been thinking lately about all the hate, violence, offense, and just plain ole craziness in the world.

We see it reported everywhere. Just look at Social Media or the news. There is so much “junk” out there and it keeps getting reported and reshared so it just keeps circulating In the atmosphere.

Even if you don’t do social media or watch the news you probably have heard about the stories or witnessed it first hand in your own communities.

I was sitting quietly and thinking about some of the recent events around the world that I have heard about or witnessed and this is what I wrote down:

The solution for all the world’s problems comes down to one thing-

LOVE

So as I was preparing this blog on my thoughts on Love, the world woke up yesterday to the trending of #LoveWins and I couldn’t help but think….

Love is NOT the Gay Rights hashtag #LoveWins message that is circulating.
That definition of love NEVER wins- only Real Love Wins & that is a person –God.

Real Love already won at the cross.

I don’t care if people want to fight for equal rights for a civil union with their same sex partners- I accept and love all people regardless the lifestyle they choose to participate in- but why the need of wanting to redefine marriage on all the rest of the world that choose to live by a Biblical world view -which defines marriage as between a man and a woman?

I don’t approve of the ruling, but I accept those that do.

I read something that said don’t confuse Marriage with Holy Matrimony.

I started thinking on what we really should not be confused by….

Don’t confuse Acceptance with Approval or Tolerance with Endorsement.

The world has confused disapproval or a difference of opinions as Intolerance or hate.

We can disapprove or disagree and still love.

 Disagreement and disapproval don’t =hate.

The solution to end all hate, intolerance and violence in the world could really be very simple if we all followed Jesus’ command to Love.

Love God above all and love your neighbor the same as you love yourself.

We can’t love our self or others properly without first loving God.
Without genuine self love our love for others will always be counterfeit.

We must know what Real Love is.

Love is a person- Love is God!

Once we know God; Real love, then we will know how to love ourselves and others well and fulfill this command and all do our part in making this world a better place.

This recent ruling doesn’t change anything.  God is still in control and God always wins.

Yes, Love Won; several thousand years ago and Love is still winning and Love will win every time on every situation when it is Christ’s Love shown through us.

I think everyone should have to take a mandatory course in Love 101.  A great place to start is looking to God’s Promises in His Word on the subject.

The whole law is made complete in this one command: “Love your neighbor the same as you love yourself.” (‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬ ERV)

The person who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:8 GW)

The Way of Love

If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate.

If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing.

If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.
Love never gives up.

Love cares more for others than for self.

Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.

Love doesn’t strut,

Doesn’t have a swelled head,

Doesn’t force itself on others,

Isn’t always “me first,”

Doesn’t fly off the handle,

Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,

Doesn’t revel when others grovel,

Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,

Puts up with anything,

Trusts God always,

Always looks for the best,

Never looks back,

But keeps going to the end.

Love never dies. Inspired speech will be over some day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit. We know only a portion of the truth, and what we say about God is always incomplete. But when the Complete arrives, our incompletes will be canceled. (1 Corinthians 13:1-10 MSG)

Best quote on the recent ruling:

We’ve turned a historical corner today, one that is not only significant in terms of US history but also in light of God’s larger redemptive narrative. I see this new age as one of opportunity for the Christian believer, as we prepare to embrace any and all whose present joy might later turn to emptiness, confusion or despair. May the Church meet the new struggles of this age with all the soul-stirring love, faithfulness, and courage of Christ Himself.

Rise Up

2015/01/img_0894.jpg

Recently I went on a van tour around my community in the Northwest suburbs of Houston, TX. The tour was by Cypress Rising, an affiliate of Elijah Rising. I was not really familiar will the entire story of Elijah Rising before the tour. What I discovered and learned was beyond shocking.

Elijah Rising’ started with a small prayer group founded almost five years ago by Cat French. Today, the group and its mission to end human trafficking in Houston, has grown.

The Founder of Elijah Rising,
Catherine “Cat” French is a modern-day abolitionist who is passionate about seeing the end of human trafficking in Houston and around the world. She is a former sociology professor and researcher in the social sciences, with an extensive background in outreach and ministry to prostituted women and children. She currently leads Elijah Rising. Cat has developed curriculum designed to train and deploy leaders who will combat modern-day slavery through systematic, fearless, informed prayer and outreach.

#FeatureFriday this week is Elijah & Cypress Rising.

We need to all Rise Up together and be educated on this epidemic. It is happening right in our own backyards. There are so many ways to get involved to make a difference in this movement to end modern day slavery.
