Courage means…

Courage means you get back up again after you’ve been knocked down.

Courage means you face your fears and move past them.

Courage means you stand up and remain confident in the face of your bullies.

Jesus was the King of Courage and He lives inside of you!

Refuse to let your enemy kick dirt in your eyes or spew lies in your ears.

YOU are a child of the Most High God.

You are someone heaven knows.

YOU are profoundly important to the greater Kingdom story.

So rise up, wrap yourself up in courage, and face your day.

God is with you! ~ Fenich Jerry

The Invisibles

I see them wherever I go

Waiting to be seen

They are not invisible to their King

Every isle I’m on

Every light unknown

Longing to be paid attention to

Like a dog they wait!

Human beings overlooked

Against the wall

The mess we’ve made

Their voice stripped away

Vocal cords cut

From dismay

The silent screams silenced

You know, the walking dead

Your neighbors that you don’t like

Your family you disregard

The molested hidden inside the present

Yes, you get it

Some of us… lived it

These beautiful ones

Their brokenness poured all over His feet

He received their offering

Made it a story for us all to see

Mary. Mother. Mankind.

Visible only to Jesus Christ

His followers forgiving

themselves for blindness.

  The Invisibles

Found And Free

I was lost, but now I’m found.

Blind, but now I see.

Enslaved to the past, but now free.

Broken, but now mended.

Fearful, but now fearless.

Anxious, but given peace.

Alone, but now He’s with me always.

Tired, but given new strength.

Depressed, but now He’s lightened my burden and shown me that this life is worth living because it was worth Him dying so I could live this life abundantly; without regret, without fear holding me back.

I may be my worst enemy,

but God is my greatest friend,

and because He’s greater in His strength

than I am in mine, He’ll defeat me with His love and kindness and show me that

when I’m weak, He is strong to deliver me from myself and the enemy’s grip on my life.

As death is knocking on my door,

so is God and his knock is louder than the enemy’s; the one who wants to kill, steal, and destroy me.

Christ came so I might have life and have it abundantly.

So, why have I not taken advantage of it before now?
Because I was once deaf to His voice, blind to the light, and allowed the enemy to take me captive into a deep, miserable, and painful place of enslavement to that which God had freed me from even before I was born because as He hung on the cross He said, “IT IS FINISHED.”

Those words encompass all that I have done, am doing, and will do in the future that doesn’t align myself with God.

But because He is a loving God,

He will keep showing up to grasp my hand and help me stand when I fall for the things of this world.
I know I can’t fill the void inside with anything or anyone outside of God, for God created me with this void that ONLY He can fill.
I want Him in my life more than this world has place.

I want my life to be in align with God;

a mind set on His will and plan for me,

thoughts that are of Him,

a heart that loves as Christ loved me,

words that speak life,

and actions that are pleasing to my heavenly Father.
What He did for me at the cross I could never repay, but He gave me this life and these gifts and talents; what I choose to do with them for His kingdom is my gift back to Him.

So, may I let go of fear holding me back from all that God has for me, and let God lead me into the way of the everlasting.

Be Fearless

Diving deep into an ocean,

Masked in strength and endurance,

This remedy can cure the disease

We all know to be evident within;

Seeing ourselves on the edge

About to leap with faith,

Into the vast and deep ocean

Below can be mind-blowing,

But only if we actually do it;

Our minds are the battlefield

Where we choose our gear,

Unpredictable is the choice

That will launch us in a direction

Where our lives will begin

To bleed our wounds healed

In the name of Jesus;

Our inner selves want to be known,

To be seen and heard,

So why do we choose to live

In the shadows;

Thinking when will be the time

To bloom, when really,

We believe we’ll never be ready;

So choose a cause

Wear a face of war,

Don’t back down, ever;

Loosen the grip on yesterday

Seek to devour the fear within

Lead by example

Push the darkness

To see the light all around

Don’t lose hope

Forgive yourself and others

Love fiercely

Rid yourself from sin

Give life a BIG chance

Don’t believe the lies

Embrace truth as it comes

What Favor Awaits You?

Ruth left all that was familiar and comfortable to her to follow her Mother In Law Naomi, and put her trust in Naomi’s God.

Just like us when we decide to follow Christ. We may be asked to leave behind situations or people that are not in our best interest. God may even force the separation and give us no choice but to find the courage to keep going and not go back to what was once comfortable or familiar.

Ruth chose to be obedient and do whatever Naomi instructed her to do. Even if that meant gathering scraps in the fields or approaching Boaz on the threshing floor.

Ruth was willing to humble herself and follow instructions, and her obedience and mercy did not go unrecognized.

She not only gained favor in the fields, it ultimately gained her favor that radically altered her life in a very good way.

She later married Boaz, who by those standards and that time was a pretty well off guy. She no longer had to gather scraps in the field to survive, her husband now owned the fields.

She also restored the family name for her and Naomi with her son Obed. Obed was also the grandfather of David and is ultimately one of Jesus’ ancestors in the genealogies found in the Gospel of Matthew and the Gospel of Luke.

What things do you need to leave behind?

What risks are you willing to take by being obedient and follow the Lord’s direction?

You never know what Favor awaits you if you don’t step out of fear and step into courage.

You Can Do It!

If you have been baptized into Christ Jesus and you walk as a Christian, no longer can you pronounce that your spirit is willing but your flesh is weak.

You can only say that your sprit is free and your flesh is dead. You are a new creation, a beloved child of the greatest Father. You were not born again to a spirit of fear, though if you fear anything let it be God in His inexpressible glory and goodness, but you have been born into a spirit of power, and love, and a sound mind.

Throw off the old belief of being a sinful person and put on the righteousness freely given to you through the blood of Jesus.

Walk bold and confidently as a child and shine so bright that others will want the same freedom and salvation that you obtain!

Run this race with diligence and always help your fellow brothers and sisters on the way. Jesus said to follow Him which means….

Love you guys and so does Jesus 🙂
