Dreaming Together

Dreaming Together

Surviving sorrow of old, mostly untold,
I gave my Maker my heart to hold, my soul to mould.

His love overshadowed all shame and blame,
birthing a heart ablaze, glorifying his name.

Emerging from past pain too deep to name,
I began to dream again.

In Christ, the die is cast — freeing me from my sin stained past,
fasting forward in freedom and faith that will last.

My hand in his as I tend to each tailored task, dreaming together, now and forever.
