I Surrender All…

During this time of rest, reflection and refreshing ourselves, we should be asking ourselves what does HE wants us to surrender? What are we to let go of? What are we to place on the altar so He can burn it up?

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding.6 In all your ways acknowledge him; then he will level your paths. (CJB)

5 Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions.With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make.Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. (TPT)

These are well-known verses, but a good reminder that when we TRUST Him, we must SURRENDER to Him our thoughts and ideas. We have to BELIEVE that HE knows what is best. His ways are higher than our ways. I know this is something we have all heard over and over, and yet… we often continue to hold on to things that HE doesn’t want us too!

As I was reflecting this morning, the song, “I Surrender All” kept playing over and over in my mind. With the world at a standstill, it is time to surrender and let go. Here are the words and a link at the end to the hymn:

Take time today to SURRENDER to Him. FEEL the sacred flame and the JOY of HIS SALVATION. Let Him FILL you with LOVE and POWER. Give GLORY to HIS NAME! He is your blessed Savior.
