For years “Patience” felt like the missing puzzle piece in my life.
I was not good at waiting. I liked to rush rush rush and plan plan plan.
I thought God was funny when He blessed me with twins and joked / “Wow – You are going to teach me patience for sure aren’t You Lord!”
Well, the twins didn’t bring me patience, nothing brought patience, but God.
When I surrendered my obsessive need for control and rushing and planning and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, that is when His peace that surpasses all understanding came into my life and with it brought me the much needed patience I had always been searching for.
Patience

the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset
Learning to wait well helps us do His will and everything else we need to.
For you have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise.

Don’t forfeit your promise by not having patience!
