Emerge

The darkness and wrestling

of your cocoon stage is almost over

and you will be emerging soon.

At first your wings will be wet and bloody

from all the struggles and shaking.

The winds of change; God’s mighty Spirit,

will blow and dry and strengthen you

with each flap of your wings.

Preparing you to emerge

from that dark season of your cocoon;

Fully transformed

with an unstoppable ability to soar

above all that has tried to keep you silent

and suffering for far too long, My Dear!
