Trials

WORTHY THOUGHT: Could it be that God allows trials to grow us up and teach us to trust him?

Hear my cry, O God;

listen to my prayer.

From the ends of the earth I call to you,

I call as my heart grows faint;

lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

For you have been my refuge,

a strong tower against the foe.

I long to dwell in your tent forever

and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.

For you, God, have heard my vows;

you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.

Increase the days of the king’s life,

his years for many generations.

May he be enthroned in God’s presence forever;

appoint your love and faithfulness to protect him.

Then I will ever sing in praise of your name

and fulfill my vows day after day.

Footnotes:

-Psalm 61:1-8

We can all agree our spiritual growth has not been in good times but through trials of life.

In the Book of Psalms, King David stood firm in confidence on the promises of God. King David knew God would provide a Savior in his line of heritage. King David believed and sang songs to God with thanksgiving and praises.

God loves us so much He has given us His Son Jesus Christ born into our world of trials and troubles and died so we can have a better life now through eternity.

When we cry out for help we must be confident knowing prayers are answered and that Jesus Christ is our source of strength and confidence.

Lets shout out and sing songs of thanksgiving and praises for He is so good to us. Amen.
