Predestined Plan

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will – Ephesians 1:11

I remember a time when I felt as if my heart was shredded into a million pieces. I felt abandoned and alone, questioning where my next step would lead me. Have you ever had an experience where negative emotions or wounded places left you to examine every aspect of your life?

Thankfully, Jesus knows everything. He doesn’t leave us or forsake us. He understood what I was going through and he knew the intimate places of my wounded heart. He kept a record of each tear that had fallen and was preparing me for a time of restoration.

He loves you and me that much. God designed an inheritance for you. It was predestined from the end to the beginning. Your life was created with purpose and thought.

May you find comfort knowing that Jesus works all things according to the counsel of his will. He understands where you are at, where you are going, and what will come. Whatever you are going through, trust him. By faith, know that you have been chosen.

Thank you Jesus for choosing us to be your followers. Your love and patience in unfailing. We never deserve to have  life rich and full. However, you created us to be in relationship with you so that we could experience you in abundance. I take this moment to praise you for all that you have done and all that you will continue to do in our lives.
