Wisdom vs Fool

WORTHY THOUGHT: You can identify a fool or a wise person by the way they walk down the road.

A fool knows all about the future and tells everyone in detail. Since a fool begins with foolish premise, his conclusion is sheer madness. A fool is upset by little work that he has no strength for the simplest matter, and if you love a fool then you will live a foolish life with them.

-Proverbs 18:2-3 Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions.

A wise man knows God is full of riches, wisdom and knowledge and he must reach for God for His strength to prepare for the tasks ahead. A wise man knows an ax requires strength, so he sharpens the blade because iron sharpens iron.

-Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. (NIV)

A wise man’s heart leads him to do right, and a fool’s heart leads him to do evil.

-Proverbs 14:8-10 The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways, but the folly of fools is deception. Fools mock at making amends for sin, but goodwill is found among the upright.

God wants you clear eyed so that you can evaluate all things as a wise person.
