Forgive Me

I recently heard this song and it was one of those songs that wrecks you in a good way.

It’s “Forgive Me” by Nicole C. Mullen

Here are the lyrics:

Like many water falls I cry,

Like something deep inside has died;

Oh the hurt, the3 guilt, the pain,

To know I broke Your heart again.

And like a hurricane that blows

A thunderstorm inside my soul;

So can you speak unto the wind

And renew my life again?

Forgive me, I have sinned;

I am guilty of the nails that pierced Your hands,

Oh I’m cryin’ out, purify,

Rid me of this guiltiness I feel inside;

I’m beggin’ please forgive me.

I can’t describe what’s in my soul,

I feel ashamed to let You know;

Oh the burden, oh the weight

That I’ve carried from that day.

But You were there, You saw it all,

Every detail, great and small;

And yet You love me just the same,

And You remind me that You came; Lord You came to

Forgive me, I have sinned;

I am guilty of the nails that pierced Your hands,

Oh I’m cryin’ out, purify,

Rid me of this barrenness I feel inside;

I’m beggin’ please.

Create in me a clean heart;

Renew my spirit too.

Restore to me joy, real joy.

Make me more like You, more like You, yeah!

Forgive me, I have sinned;

I am guilty of the nails that pierced Your hands,

Oh I’m cryin’ out, purify,

Rid me of this brokenness I feel inside;

Oh, I’m beggin’ please.

Forgive me, I have sinned;

I am guilty of the nails that pierced Your hands;

I know I’m guilty, I’m guilty.

But when I cry out, You purify

And heal me of this brokenness I feel inside;

And faithfully Your hear my plea;

You faithfully, You forgive me.

Jesus You forgive me.

I hope you enjoy this weeks #SongSunday

What Love Is

Every place the word Love is – I want you to replace it with your name. Say it out loud and declare that you are all those things!

And just because Valentine’s Day is over … remember – everyday is Hearts Day and an opportunity to be love.

Love well! ~ XXOO Michelle Bollom

Love is patient; love is kind. Love isn’t envious, doesn’t boast, brag, or strut about. There’s no arrogance in love; it’s never rude, crude, or indecent—it’s not self-absorbed. Love isn’t easily upset. Love doesn’t tally wrongs or celebrate injustice; but truth— yes, truth— is love’s delight! Love puts up with anything and everything that comes along; it trusts, hopes, and endures no matter what. Love will never become obsolete.

Share A Little Joy

“Some days, JOY is a gift. Other days it’s an all out Battle.” ♥♥ Fight on Girl.

” A Joyful Return to Zion” ~ PSALM 126:5,6

Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing. Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.

♥♥ My ‘one’ word for 2018 is JOY!! I’m learning the tapestry of JOY is weaved with so many vibrant colors and some that may not catch your eye at first glance. Yet, as the Lord gives me a new lens to see through His eyes, there is beauty beneath the surface!!

I would like to share with you a little of my journey that the Lord is walking me through. Quite honestly, I question the Lord at times, if I hear him correctly with all that’s been whirling about me in this season of profound loss and grief. My precious Mother walked through the pearly gates of Heaven a few months ago. I cannot express in words how this journey has left me forever changed and without understanding of what life looks like, NOW!!

Seeking Him for renewed hope in every moment and waking up each day. I ask the Lord to ‘breathe new breath into my lungs’ every day, because my health struggles take so much out of me. So, adding the symptoms of grief and loss. I am feeling affected on so many levels. I feel like I’m learning to walk all over again, one foot in front of the other, step by step. I run towards the Father and trust that He will catch me when I fall and pick me up when I stumble and when I lose hope to try again.

In Psalm 119:114-116 the Lord reminds me that, “He is my hiding place.”

I have found JOY in the midst of the ruins and broken gems. I have found REST in the midst of chaos and great loss, that only the LORD can give! I am learning that the JOY OF THE LORD is my strength! It’s not found in the empty promises of this world. It’s not in the busyness I find my sense of ‘whose I am’ but, IN HIM! He asks me to “Seek Him First.” Always!! He asks me to ‘Pray without ceasing.’ He asks me to ‘Worship Him’ through songs of Praise and to sit quietly, in His Presence, in the good times and hard times. He calls me by name and tells me ‘I am His own’ and He will never leave me nor forsake me. He carries me when I cannot find the strength to go on and reminds me that no matter what, ‘I AM HIS, Daughter’ and He watches over me. He tells me,  “I SEE YOU AND I HEAR YOU.”

Yes, even in the little things, He gives me JOY!! SELAH

Angels in my day when I need someone the most. A sweet child’s laughter that makes me giggle. A friend I haven’t seen in years but, God knew when to send them across my path again. A friend that picks me up to go for a drive in the sunshine ~ I am reminded of God’s beauty I so often take for granted, as I look up again.

All these little things bring me great JOY!! In the midst of my tears, He gives me JOY. In the midst of the Ruins, He shows me ‘Beauty in the Broken Gems.’

“Thank you for inviting me to share a little bit of the tapestry of Grace that God is weaving in my soul.🌹❤️

God Sees It All

European astronomers have taken a stunning photo of a Big Brother-style cosmic eye, nicknamed the Eye of God…

My heart is full and discouraged at times when I discover more and more atrocities going on all around us. Some are widely seen and displayed such as mass shootings at schools and venues. Others are under cover and progress slowly with a hidden agenda set in motion by people of power and honor.

Nothing is ever as it seems, as I discover more and more the lies and the hypocrisy that we as humans are capable of possessing. I feel helpless at times when I stop and look around and see situations that children are living under and the seemingly dim future ahead for those less fortunate. As I become more aware, I find my self asking God why doesn’t He stop these perpetrators that are seemingly getting away with literal murder all around us.

I was asked yesterday by a high school student how do I survive? Can you please give me advice so that I can make it. She said she had accepted Jesus as her Savior earlier when our group had come to share the gospel.  Her circumstances didn’t change. It had become increasingly more difficult she explained. She went on to say she felt discouraged after listening to our speaker. We had brought in a lady who had overcome extreme poverty and obstacles to help encourage the student. Her message was powerful and she gave the students an example of possibility that they too did not need to be a product of their environment.

I asked the discouraged student if she had anyone to go to for help and guidance. She said no. There was no church she attended, no parents of sound mind, no friends of positive influence and no teachers with any time.

My heart was heavy because I knew a quick prayer over her wouldn’t fix her and I honestly had no answers for her to magically erase her problems. Our team had to go and I grabbed our speaker and pointed out the student and told her the situation. As I was leaving I saw the young student writing down the speaker’s phone number as she called it out to a couple students who would NOT leave because they had more questions.

These kids were hoping to find something to help them set in motion a way to graduate and make their life a success. I reflect back on how I can take all these legitimate worries for our safety and our children’s safety in this broken world of 2018. I go to the only thing I know can help give me hope.

I do my normal flip to a passage in the Bible and ask God to answer my cry for this time we find ourselves living. I know Psalms is a good landing spot, so I open up to Psalm 103 and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for a good God who is rich in love and mercy. He has a divine plan of restitution set up for victims and makes everything right in the end. I am reminded He has eyes and sees everything and nothing gets by Him as He sits in His throne and rules over us all.

Praise the Lord, O my soul!!

Thank you God,

Kelley Allison

Restitution Definition:

The restoration of something lost or stolen to its proper owner.

Recompense for injury or loss.

The restoration of something to its original state.

Psalm 103 The Message

O my soul, bless God.
From head to toe, I’ll bless his holy name!
O my soul, bless God,
don’t forget a single blessing!

He forgives your sins-everyone.

He heals your diseases—every one.

He redeems you from hell—saves your life!
He crowns you with love and mercy—a paradise crown.
He wraps you in goodness—beauty eternal.
He renews your youth—you’re always young in his presence.

God makes everything come out right;
he puts victims back on their feet.
He showed Moses how he went about his work,
opened up his plans to all Israel.
God is sheer mercy and grace;
not easily angered, he’s rich in love.
He doesn’t endlessly nag and scold,
nor hold grudges forever.
He doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve,
nor pay us back in full for our wrongs.
As high as heaven is over the earth,
so strong is his love to those who fear him.
And as far as sunrise is from sunset,
he has separated us from our sins.
As parents feel for their children,
God feels for those who fear him.
He knows us inside and out,
keeps in mind that we’re made of mud.
Men and women don’t live very long;
like wildflowers they spring up and blossom,
But a storm snuffs them out just as quickly,
leaving nothing to show they were here.
God’s love, though, is ever and always,
eternally present to all who fear him,
Making everything right for them and their children
as they follow his Covenant ways
and remember to do whatever he said.

God set his throne in heaven he rules over us all. He’s the King!
So bless God, you angels,
ready and able to fly at his bidding quick to hear and do what he says.
Bless God, all you armies of angels,
alert to respond to whatever he wills.
Bless God, all creatures, wherever you are—
everything and everyone made by God.

And you, O my soul, bless God!

Only By Knowledge Of The Truth

There are many propositional truths a person can know that will help them.

But it is only by knowledge of the truth of Jesus Christ that we can be set free.

Many immerse themselves in Bible study hoping to find freedom in the words of Scripture, but the Bible itself isn’t the destination—it’s a roadmap to lead us to the Destination, which is Jesus Christ.

Don’t think that principles, even biblical principles, can make you free. Freedom comes when we know the Truth and trust in Him.

The inspired purpose of the Bible is to reveal Him, not give a set of moral or even religious guidelines by which we are to live.

Worthy Thought: This is a good reminder and a command, it is ok to not agree with people but love and respect them anyway. Just as you would want to be treated when people do not agree with you. ❤️

Remember not just today – but everyday ….

Hate Divides – Love Unites!

Love well!

Happy ❤️Day!

The Power Of Voice

God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water. Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” ~Genesis 1:3, 1:6, 1:26 NIV

God’s voice spoke the whole earth into existence. He created EVERYTHING. Isn’t it interesting that we can’t see a ‘voice’ with our eyes, yet it had the power to call ALL things into creation?

We’ve learned that spoken testimonies have power too. Somehow, we can envision parts and pieces of our journey in other people’s stories. It is a way that we connect with one another.

A kind word, a listening ear, voice creates an avenue to connect to both. God’s testimony is apparent as we look at all of the things he has done in our lives and on the earth around us. May we share our testimony with others, be intentional to listen to other people’s stories, just as Jesus did when he reached out to the broken-hearted.

Jesus, we ask that you find favor with us this week as we journey together and share the marvelous testimony that you demonstrated here on this earth.

Baring His Beauty,

Tiffany Thomas

She vaguely remembers a time

not so long ago

When pain was still her portion

When fear ruled her life

When she was dressed in rags

of hopelessness and despair

Then out of nowhere

He appeared on the scene

The One she came to love

with her whole being

She never would have made it through

the betrayal, the rejection, the deep pain

If it was not for her Bridegroom

He turned the bitter cup

That was placed in her hand

Into a cup of redemption and deep joy

She chose to follow Him blindly

When despair was her portion

Wasn’t He the One

Interceding for her

when all hell broke loose

Wasn’t He the One

Cheering her on

through the valley

of the shadow of death

Wasn’t He the One

Nursing her broken heart

back to life

The enemy is preparing his compromised bride

My Beloved is preparing

A set apart, holy, remnant bride

Who has eyes only for her Bridegroom

A bride so intoxicated and overtaken

by her Bridegrooms presence

No pain, no past, no fear

Can keep her from pursuing His heart

She has come to the end of herself

To be One with Him

The things of this world

have lost its hold on her

To be consumed and recklessly loved

By her Beloved

her only desire

For in His presence

She is transformed

into His beloved daughter

She burns with His love

Her lamp overflowing with oil

She walks in holiness

Honouring her King

With every move she makes

She couldn’t be stopped

by her fears and her pain

She couldn’t be stopped

by the sighs and the lies

She couldn’t be stopped

by religion and rules

She is free at last

to dwell with her Beloved

Following Him blindly

No matter the cost

He wrecked her heart

He has set her apart

She is seated in heavenly places

Next to her Beloved.
