Living The Good Life

I think we all have favorite scriptures in the Bible that we like to read. We all have a favorite version of the Bible. I would like to share a scripture out of the Amplified version.

I got so excited when I first read this verse from the Amplified version. Actually, it still excites me everytime I read it!

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]”.

Can you see why I get excited?

God has a plan for each of us. (See Jeremiah 29:11). He has a plan for us to do good works (that He planned beforehand.)
He has a path for us to walk- one that He prepared ahead of time. When we are walking down that path and doing those good works, we get to live the good life that He made ready for us to live.

Everyone of us have to take time to find out from God what that plan is. We have to find out what those good works are. In addition to what the Bible says we are to do, those good works can be writing, singing, writing songs, being in Ministry, having a business, etc..
Seek God and He will show you exactly what that plan is. He will show you step by step.

He shows you the first step, so take it!

Then wait for the next step.

Don’t run out ahead of Him, it doesn’t work!

Been there, done that….another post!

When you are in the plan of God and walking the path He has for you, you’ll be able to see the fruit of it and you will see what a blessing it is Living the Good Life

In God’s Love,
