A New Path

He pursues them and moves on unscathed, by a path his feet have not traveled before.~ Isaiah 41:3 NIV

Walking in faith isn’t always easy. I get nervous about the life I can’t see ahead. I entertain thoughts of who will accept me and who will deny me. I fear failing at things that I am actually capable of. I become afraid of the pain that will come with having relationships. I run rampant trying to control environments that are simply out of my control.

Lord, in my flesh, I am weak.

Holy Spirit come. You are welcome here. Where I am weak, you make me strong. In the circumstances that I second guess, you have no doubt. When I make borders around my heart, you come in and provide open spaces. In the places I have felt pain, you soothe and provide me comfort. Where I am afraid to move, you give me the power to pick up my feet and run.

Holy Spirit your strength is my edification.

You pursue my Spirit, and I praise and honour you for your dedication. Thank you for allowing me to have another opportunity to understand who you are and the purpose you’ve called me to. In this season, may it be so.

Baring His Beauty,

Tiffany Thomas
