Missions

WORTHY THOUGHT:  Going on a missions trip to share the Gospel to other countries is exciting but does the journey worry, or scare you? 

God the Father meets the everyday needs of your life as you follow Him. When we need to know which way to go, He shows us the right path and then goes before us to prepare the way. Even in places of danger, we need not to be afraid. God makes our steps sure! God protects His own, don’t fear. 

He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though we walk through a valley of shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:3-4

It is also extremely important that you know God’s calling for you to go on a mission to share the Gospel is also His commandment, means you need to obey and do His will. He will guide you and strengthen you. 
God will never put you on a journey without preparing you. 

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. -Joshua 1:9

Jesus also commanded to his disciples right before he ascended to heaven “go into the world and proclaim the gospel to all creation.” The Lord Jesus was with them in spirit wherever they had gone and confirmed the message by accompanying signs.

And he said to them, “Go into the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.  And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message accompanying signs.– Mark 16:15,20
