Relationship is the single most important “skill” that each one of us must learn, and the process starts the moment we are born and continues until the day we die.
It is impossible to master this skill, because it is different with everyone and is always changing! We live and learn and grow and improve and meet new people and have new experiences and all of this affects our relationships with one another!
We build our character through the relationships we have with our family, friends, co-workers and everyone we come into contact with on a daily basis.
Out of all the relationships we have, the one that we must all strive to enrich and grow is our relationship with God. He is the one that matters most and will help us with all the other relationships in our lives.
He will give us the insight that we need to “master the skill” of relating with one another.
The bible is the best book to learn and study about how to build great relationships and Jesus is the best role model of all.
So in your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:5
So in everything do unto others what you would have them do unto you. Matthew 7:12
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. Mark 12:29-31
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
