Shot Of Adrenaline

Living an abundant life sometimes requires that we get rid of a few things first.

Sometimes we must delegate, relinquish control or simply say no to some things so we can say yes to God and what He has purposed for us.

But how do we do all that when we feel so defeated, burnt out, overwhelmed, overlooked, rejected, spread too thin, and don’t have a clue where to even begin…..

Here’s the good news:

When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility He plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

Even if you don’t like shots – this is one everyone will love.

There is an exhilarating finish in store!

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls! ~ Hebrews 12:1-3 MSG

Desire

Worthy Thought:

We should desire spiritual food more than physical food.

Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ” Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from mouth of God.”

God will strengthen your inner person when you read, meditate and obey the Word.

Once we see our need for God’s Word as spiritual food, we begin to grow spiritual nourishment and this will lead us to grow in Christ.

Feeding on His Word will bring joy to our hearts and He will give you what you need to face your struggles ahead.
