Flesh And Blood

I have found it very interesting the fact that I have questioned about 30 to 40 people in the last 2 weeks who their enemies are. Every single person that I asked would name a person or people. I find it interesting because I believe the fact is, that when God is speaking about enemies in the Bible He’s not only talking about people. He’s more so talking about another kind of enemies.

If you ask me the enemy has found even more effective tools to use against us. He tries to play games with our mind in order to have us turn away from our Heavenly Father.

Some of our biggest enemies of all can be considered anxiety, depression, sickness, illness, disease, adultery, murder, addictions, isolation, poverty, and the list goes on and on; but as you know these are not flesh and blood.

They are principalities just like His words teaches us in Ephesians v 12

for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places.

My friends our enemies are way beyond any person. Our biggest enemies are those that keep us in bondage in need of being set free. We have got to quit hating people and each other and start hating the true enemies of our lives. We all have them.
The only way that we can fight our enemies is through God. Our most powerful, all glorious God who made heaven and earth. God who is bigger than any enemy we can face.

Seek Him. Seek out our Lord. Feel His heartbeat against yours. Feel His loving touch and arms holding you tight. In order to seek Him out and truly have an intimate relationship with Him you have got to read His word.
His Word is alive and active even still today.

I encourage you on this day to start speaking to those enemies in your life, to be removed, go away, leave, never to come back. We cannot do it on our own but we can do all things through Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior who strengthens us.

(Ephesians 6:4-18) V4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nature and admonition of the Lord. V5 Servants be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling in the singleness of your heart as unto Christ. V6 not with eye service as men pleasers but as the servant of Christ doing the will of God from their heart. V7 With good will doing service as to the Lord, and not to men; V8 knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same the same shall he receive from the Lord whether he be bond or free. V9 And ye masters, do the same things unto them. Forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with Him. V10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. V11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. V12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world. Against spiritual wickedness in high places. V13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the the evil day, and having done all, to stand. V14 Stand therefore having your loins girt about with the truth. And having on the breastplate of righteousness; V15 and your feet Shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; V16 Above all taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the ferry darts of the wicked, V17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; V18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance. and supplication for all saints. V19 and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, V20 for which I am an ambassador in bonds; that therein I may speak boldly as I ought to speak.
