As long as we are self-assured and carefully restrained we aren’t fully open or true to others or to God. When we are tired of acting like we have it all together, and begin to admit that we sometimes feel desperate, broken, and crushed, when we can finally start to be open, to get honest and are eager for God to work in us, is when our lives can start to change.
Our own willfulness and pride keeps us imprisoned. Embracing His perfect will over our own and humbly admitting our short comings can transform our brokenness to empowerment.
Let go of all the fractured and broken pieces and hand them and your control over to God. He is the Maker of all beautiful things.
