Define:
Resurrection can be defined as the act of restoring a dead person, condition of being restored to life, and the rising again from the dead of all mankind at the Last Judgment.
Affirm:
Act 3: 13-15 “The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go. You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.”
Recall:
The past few days were days in which we gathered with friends, family, and loved ones to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. Many of us started our weekend on Good Friday- coming together to break fast from Lent. Then many of us gathered in our communities to take our children Easter Egg hunting. Lastly, many of us celebrated the rising of Christ on Sunday.
The resurrection of Christ is a big deal and I will recap the importance of this weekend.
I thank you Lord for Christ’s resurrection! As I pondered more this Easter Sunday, I thought wow sometimes I feel like the enemy tries hard to defeat me. I am so thankful that in GOD in Christ, I am restored. I am so thankful that Christ died so that I can be free. I am so glad that I can have eternal life.
You are resurrected and God can bring restoration in your life!
Exercise:
Dear GOD,
Thank you so much for giving up your son for me. I am so grateful that in him I have eternal life. Please help me to put all my trust in you O’Lord. God just like you resurrected your son; I seek restoration, and healing in my life. I love you and thank you.
Commit to the challenge. I DARE you.
